Finally went through and took notes on every vid in the series. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the golfing community! Wish I had this back when I first picked up the game!

Hi Martin. I’ve watched the whole series at least twice and I cannot tell you how impressed and fascinated by all this content. It is truly amazing. Thank you so much.

beanie, where did you go to view the series. it is one viewing or several episodes?
@JordonHildebrandt7 ай бұрын
I finished watching the entire series about a week ago and took this to the range over the last week. Today I just played my first round of the season and I didn't hit a bad shot. I may have aimed myself incorectly but each shot was flush. Incredible.

This concept of the swing makes sense to me. For my inclinations & skeletal frame, I gravitate towards the shape of Bubba Watson's swing & it's great that his swing is totally compatible with your concept. Bubba just thinks about the target so I just need to figure out the optimal target for me, near or far, high or low. Thanks for creating an approach to golf that's compatible with humans.

Martin, get your stuff. It's been about 10 or so years. Staying in the vector while being cognizant of the target was what did it for me, we didn't discuss that back then. Sadly, your Man doesn't get it completely. This technology is light years ahead of the rest. Best : John Lyons.

Martin, Enjoying this swing . In this Video you speak of not using the body to move the club for momentum ? I was using the body to assist in the clubs momentum. Not right ? On fundamental alignment . The left holds in a cupped position and maintains this throughout the swing ? That is where the counter rotation motion comes to life . I have it going , and there is a shit load of release through the ball. I had some swings where the club was moving so fast I felt like it was going to come out of my hands . Or should I say my shoulders coming out of there sockets . LOL You didn't say this boost was like a jet taking off . Ball coming out like a bullet from a gun. If anything I am saying here is not right , please adjust my thinking to what is correct . I have been only doing this for a couple day . To really have this swing , I figure my Computer with sort it all out for even more effortless power and accuracy . Cheers my Friend. Have a Blessed day .

Good stuff. Only adjustment is to clarify your first question. Yes the body assists 👍🏻 In fact you want to use everything from base to apex. The key is to use each segment in the correct order (sequence). Don’t arbitrarily try to move the club with the body. Instead let the motion flow from one end to the other and back again, through the body.

Just wondering what’s the opposite of “ turning over in your grave” ?? Because Hogan’s doing that!!
@ryansimmons50572 жыл бұрын
Hey Martin- can you do a video on putting? There has to be a way to stabilize the vector apex to base..
@MartinAyersGolf2 жыл бұрын
I can, and yes there is...the same way as full swing.

Martin, Great swing . The swing is feeling good, but I have been getting some little fats shots . Checked in mirror swinging and everything was looking fine. Then I video my swing and I see my head is lifting up . That sucks , I can see where this swing is going to have even more in it , when I figure that problem out. What do you suggest ? Besides don't let it lift . LOL I seem to drop a little forward in my set up just before I take the club back. I don't feel this in my swing. Can it be that my right leg starts to straighten ? not ridged . I see yours maintains the flex ? I have tested closer to the ball , stand taller and not allow to lean any forward , seems to not change a thing. Any good medicine to nip this one ? Cheers

You should be pressuring away from the ball a little since the clubhead is right behind it. That dropping forward says you’re not . GL

Is swinging the club at 120mph and staying in the middle of it, the same as swinging it at 120mph and it staying in the middle of me in feel?
@pathfinder94842 жыл бұрын
Quick answer is no!.. it’s on one side of you or the other which is the space the club utilises!..
@jamiebraden32482 жыл бұрын
@@pathfinder9484 interesting I never feel like its on either side of me it always feels like it's between my feet.
@pathfinder94842 жыл бұрын
@@jamiebraden3248 Jamie if you put your right hand on the head of the club and left on the butt and held it “ in front of you’, you can see the club , even a wedge is wider than you! This why the need to understand the value of keeping it to one side than the other. Your hands can indeed tie these ends to the feet… the opposite foot. 👌

@@pathfinder9484 same thing said differently why golf is hard to teach
@pathfinder94842 жыл бұрын
@@jamiebraden3248 Most is being taught and therefore comprehended from the outside perspective… this ownership comes from the players perspective… which is optimised by behind outside and behind the structure of the swing.. and from this vantage point you will sense the club is being more lead side than middle because of where you are!!.. This feel IS the real!!..

Is your teaching based on the Golfing Machine?
@MartinAyersGolf Жыл бұрын
No. I believe it's an entirely different starting premise. I view the swing as an interaction between the player and the club
