The cloth simulation is out of this world. Just to note that to export it to blender, you need to check it on project settings (bake cloth simulation) or use the blender simulation tool from cc3 add-on (but come on). Also motion director, with all it's greatness, it crushes left right and center, I hope they ll fix it soon

Another great video Martin - thanks! Looking forward to more tutorials as always. Is the workflow from CC4/iClone8 to Blender still the same or have things changed now that iClone8 doesn't need the 3DXChange module? Also, where did you get the Space Age Cartoon Character in your video? Thanks!

Hi Grace, thank you! The workflow is much faster now, since you dont need 3DXChange but can just drag and drog assets and fbx animations from other sources directly into the iClone / CC viewport 🙂 Great improvement!

Hi, I got confuse with iClone 8 and CC4 package when I go into the Reallusion site. There are a kot of bundles. May I know is the contents of this video including all of those bundle or it is a standalone iClone 8 software?

@@MartinKlekner Gotcha. I saw a comment you made about using auto eye not too long ago. So I was curious if you added or changed anything else. Have you ever thought about making tutorials more geared towards weaponry and using them in the animation process? I'm still new to modeling in blender and I'm trying to wrap my brain around how bows and arrows would work, haha.

I am almost 42. I started learning 3D less than two years ago, and I'm holding down a full time job and have four kids. Why am I telling you this? Because you will be shocked at how far you can come in a short time if you use your time well. Sure, I have a long way to go, but that's art. It's never ending. But if 3D is something you really want, then don't let age hold you back. You only live once. iClone is great. But it's better not to have to be completely submissive to it. Use it as a tool in your tool back instead of your only access point. Start learning Blender. Even an hour a day. It's worth it. Don't shy away from learning new things and doing it "the hard way." In five years time, you'll be a maverick! EDIT: my full job time is not in 3D. I was saying that 3D can be learned in your spare time. Just stop watching Netflix!

I can't afford this yet. I could save up until Christmas. But My current project I rather finish without buying this. Since I am still using cc3 and iclone 7. I want to get my current project done before the end of this year.
