C&C RED ALERT 2 - FINAL Allied Mission 12 CHRONO STORM

Finally making a Chrono assault on Moscow using a bulk of the Allied arsenal, this is a mission where all tech is available. This is a mission where we finally have an access to use the Chrono Legionarre and Weather Control Device during a playthrough. There are several ways to finish this mission, here (this is from 2014), I've decided to make a brute armored push through. This also means a lot of casualties on both sides of the conflict, especially because chance to avoid Nuke or Iron Curtain is lower. Beginning of the mission is mostly about speed, gaining a veterancy/elite for your IFV is also a good thing, especially against Kirovs. There are several bunkers that guard entry to your base, also capture the Oil Derricks as fast as possible, when Barracks is built. From this moment, try to tech up quickly, especially when you want to have Ore Processing and Battle Lab to have more funds. Chrono Legionarres are basically the easy way to win here, there are several Soviet structures barely defended against them. Same goes for the Navy SEALs at start of the mission, you can use 3 of them to disable two Nuclear Reactors to the east. Without power, the Soviets will no longer be any threat to you, remove the Black Guard and do not even try to garrison the Kremlin!

4 derricks possible to capture, half the map in his control, does not capture them ever. has over 15k gold available to use, doesn't build even one extra war factory for faster production. I had to stop in the middle, it made me yell at the screen.

There’s way to destroy the nuke silo in 15 minutes before it even hits you. Built a chronosphere to teleport 4-5 IFVs filled with SEAL soldiers next to the nuke silo, exit the vehicle and detonate the silo immediately. Same works with iron curtain.

What I did was just use chrono legionnaires to get rid of their nuclear reactors so they'd lose power and whenever they rebuilt them, I just did it again

The way I did it. Build prism tanks, blow up the tesla coils defending the bases to the east and west, then capture said bases. After that, build a metric ass load of V3 rocket and just place them all around the last base to the south and have it pummeled into submission

i did this mission -Level Hard in 15 minutes or so, all you need to do is 1)Shuting down the Nuclear Reactor 2)sink the 4 black Apocalypse Tanks with Chronosphere 3)Use Chrono Legionnaire to Erase The Kremlin. after watching this i wanna do it again. Easy way how to get Origin version of Red alert 2 and Yuri's revenge to work is to change resolution in RA2.ini file to 800x600 and everything works as it should. any 3rd party addons are not required. If you dont have any .ini files in directory just activate Yuri's revenge once (that game starts for some reason on win 10) then close it and you should see RA2MD.ini in your red alert directory. Copy it, change its name to RA2.ini, open it with notepad and change video resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768 and problems solved! I have windows 10 and it works fine without any 3rd party patches or fixes so i hope it does for you too.

If u act fast enough you can even prevent the iron curtain from being used even once. As soon as you built battle lab, train few spies, transport them via helicopter to the nuclear plants on the east, then repeatedly shut down the power. Meanwhile train chrono leggionaires, then use them to erase nuclear plants on the main base. After that, u can capture the nuclear plants on the east for yourself.

@@skak3000 They attacke the oil derricks regardless of mode. The only real difference is, on brutal they have a bullshit build speed that you can't compete with and they will overrun you if you don't take them out immediately and only build troops and neglect defending yourself
