I am certain people don't realize the greatness of this athlete. The guy won 4 medals in 4 different Olympic Games, 3 of which were gold. This is crazy.

Bronze medal due to a recent serious injury just before the event as he said in the video. Had not it been that injury he would most likely be a gold medalist 4 times.

@@myonlynick Maybe I dont know, the truth was though that without the injury, the gold medal would have been tough that year. Pyrros was not in his prime then. The fact that still got that medel, not being on his prime and injured, says a lot! The guy is not just the GOAT in weight lifting in Olympics, he is one of the GOATs in Olympics in general.

I would like you to realize something. Pyrros mentioned the standing ovation that took more than 10 minutes. I've never seen a ceremony practically freezed for more than 10 mins before that day and ever again to be honest. Extra respect to the other athletes and the committee. You see a small stadium of standing ovations, but I can confirm that on that day 10 million Greeks were crying for joy. You can ask any Greek where he/she was on the day the national team won the 1987 European basketball championship, or where he/she was and what he/she was doing in detail when the national team won the European football championship in 2004. The day Pyrros stepped on the podium in 2004 was such a day too.
