5:04 False…American styles of 80s hard rock and metal (especially glam metal) use chorus -- the asshole music that alternative was fighting against…That Cobain used a Small Clone chorus is sort of an anomaly in alternative rock -- but then again Nirvana's purpose was to satirize asshole music…Not very many alternative guitarists use chorus, except for bands like Stone Temple Pilots who are really only alternative in name, not in substance.
