Hiring Zaidi seemed like the right move, horrible execution! Then I just thought at the time that Kapler was the wrong hire after Boch. Didn't realize the divide that have grown between the team and the Giants former players. The new generation with Zaidi was the 2000s Oakland A's. But he didn't build up the minor league system so it got old and the 2000s A's never got to the WS. I think those type teams work over 162 game season, but when it's a 3 to 7 game series it's not going to work so well I don't think. I think they need a power hitting OF and either a SS or 2B puts them in a lot better shape for 2025. Wait for Eldredge and if they can sign Snell or Burnes it'd be great, but I don't think the pitching is bad if they don't get either. I think the key is Ray does he come back or does he end up back on the IL? As for Soto, they need to offer him a ridiculous amount, either he signs with the Giants or someone else pays the price. Marty haven't heard you on the radio in a while great to see you on here! Great show!
