Only in Australia could you watch a kangaroo beat the shit out of a man in a suit on kids tv. God, I loved being a child of the 80s. This was filmed on the same set as Neighbours. I went and saw it live a few times. They used to cut to BMX racing just before the ad break.

The funniest if most shocking kids shows I've ever seen. Actually one of the most funny telly moments ever. I know - the 80s were Freedom with a capital F - these days it would be a whole catalogue of "offence" issues - most likely rolled into one single big and costly Court case.

Kangaroos look cute but male Reds grow huge and quite capable of ripping a man wide open and inflicting a fatal injury. If a kangaroo stands up in front of you and rests back on its tail, watch out because two large pointed claws are heading your way shortly. The "hug" is to stop the target evading the kick and also to really dig those claws in hard and push while holding on. Cute yes but there is no such thing as a domestic Kangaroo and you don't play with wild animals if you have any sense.
