Marty's solo stuff is great. For me, The Church will never be the same band without him.

Agreed. Much as I like and admire Ian Haug, the Church is a different band now. Marty's contributions were/are greatly underestimated by Kilbey. And as much as they are different musically now, where they miss Marty the most is live. He took up so much space on stage, both sonically and physically. And I also agree that his solo stuff is superb. So much feeling.
