This was Marty Jr's first record, but it unfortuately failed to make any impression. Perhaps not the right song for him.

It's nice to see Marty and his son singing; Junior really sounds like Dad and they both have that lovely smile. It makes one smile just watching them! Marty left us way TOO SOON, but his music is still going strong.

How sweet he is a far cry from his father but then there can only be one Marty Robbins but the pride and tender love of the father is what got me you cannot beat a father's love it even surpasses the love of a mother I can vouch for this

Was able to meet his fantastic dad at the KCK memorial bldg back in the early 60's. He was quite a showman to watch. So glad to hear Ronny sounds so much like his dad.

Not on cd, but on vinyl under Marty Robbins Jr, which was the name Ronny was using while performing at the time. Here’s a link to that version kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJjdmmuciKuKaqc

just to be clear….Marty’s son’s name was Ronnie, Marty Robbins Jnr was just a name he adopted for his musical career, which he never pursued to any extent. “ Ronny performed during the 1970s under the name Marty Robbins Jr., and Columbia Records released his debut album in 1969. While Ronny eventually stopped making music and touring, he told the Phoenix New Times that he now takes care of the family business, Marty Robbins Enterprises.”
