I met Marty back around 2005, and have even been to his home in Hendersonville...the home he used to live in beside Johnny Cash. I went there to have him autograph 2 copies of his book of photographs. He was nice, and very accomodating!! He spent time to autograph the books for me, and took time to talk to me, my uncle, and my daughter. He's such genuine, sweet, friendly person. I've seen him around town dozens of times, at gas stations, in Kroger, at the DMV twice, and several other places. I'd see him sitting at red lights, at Wal-Mart, and even saw him a few times at Cracker barrel and other restaurants. he's one of the best in the business, and is in no way cocky or stuck up. I've been a fan for years, but after meeting and talking to him on dozens of occasions, I've grown to respect him as a singer, songwriter, but more importantly, I respect him as a person. All around great guy!!! And just for the record, the 45 people who gave this video a "thumbs-down" are idiots!

More Bluegrass than country IMHO
@scrimmerman3 жыл бұрын
@@keithrichardscorpse1230 More of the Bluegrass influences were featured here, but if you've ever seen them live, you would know they can do country (REAL country, not that crap on Top 40 Country radio these days) better than anyone. Seen them do a few Surf rock tunes along with some Blues/Rock too. They even can get a little jazzy in some of their instrumentals.

Marty Stuart's personality illuminates the presence of the crude and refined core of American country. The Superlatives assist Marty on their well trodden trails of legendary musicians, keeping the gears and bearings of the origins of American music well oils and greased to help American music's origins to be mainatined and move justly along with the changing times. They keep Mark Twains steamboat chugging along with new saloon rhythme (Mark Twain Country Music)
