after following The RollinStones for so long now I would very much expect Keef to bring the Countriest and Coolest song . the man is obsessed with the old time roots of Country Music . thanx American Profile !!!

You can certainly hear a lot of country and western sound in the earlier rolling Stones recordings. I was a learning teenage guitarist and was trying to learn songs by ear because we didn't have tableture you tube back then. So it was songs that I was trying to learn form the Sticky Fingers album. You can really hear Keith's country side in a lot of that album.

I always thought Connie was a beautiful woman but ohh my goodness. when she was younger. Geeeeezoid. that is beauty beyond compare and I think that is an absolutely real smile. I worked with her many times. I was a sound engineer at the wheeling Jamboree USA radio and live show for 25 years and the lighting person there before that dating back to 1978. I also worked with Marty and his band many times. Eventually Marty hired his own people to travel and mix for him. El Orens

When you worked at the Jamboree did you ever come across a guy named Mickey Roth? He was a producer of the show for a while before he left and went up to Philadelphia PA to produce American Bandstand. Mickey is a relative of mine and he tells me great stories of the country stars he came in contact with. Thanks!
