Takes me back to the gig I went to at the Camden Falcon in 91 I believe. Loud af sweaty basement loads of feedback, probably one of the best gigs I ever been too. I had a kebab afterwards.

Etherial noisy brilliance , uplifting and sad at the same time . How I miss the boos , and proper indie music in general , much better than the sanitized commercial shit of today!

Once again proving, you can never have too much guitar on a song. One of my all time faves. The only complaint I have is that it’s about an hour too short.

I've seen them back to May of 1993 in Switzerland's Lausanne. Two days "The nuissance festival" for the crowd of about only 200-250 people. TBR were performing along with Adorable, Moose, The Faith' Healers, The Telescopes, Prodigy, Blur, perhaps few other bands

1991 to 1995, There were so many great indie bands out during that period. The album that this is taken from was excellent but after this album the boo's went down hill unfortunately. So many great bands from that time, ride, bleach paris angels and many many more.

I see Wake Up! as a bit of a career blip, as C'mon Kids was excellent also. They'd always been about noise and melody but I guess the melody eventually won out. Never really listened to Kingsize so can't comment.

@keflar5 It's a great song but whats so nostalgic about My Bloody Valentine and Dinosaur Jr in 91? These bands were psychedelic and maybe they had a bit of a new romantic vibe to some of their music like Ride for example. but none of them were retro like the Stone Roses.
