@@buttkid3548 Indeed JP did... Just not on this song - which was recorded and typically performed on a Danelectro (two single coil "lipstick" type pickups). If you want to nail the tone on this song I recommend single coils.

Jimmy page understood the fretboard on a different level, he is a gift to humanity. Combined with plants voice , bonham’s drums , and Jones with everything in between, they were a super band that changed music forever, I believe these guys were put on this earth by design, as with David Gilmore, almost a supernatural talent

I started playing guitar 7 years ago and Marty was my go to guy. I have stopped learning new songs for quite a while and I was focusing more on learning composition. But I suddenly got the urge to learn this song and came to straight to his channel. It was weird seeing him after such a long time, the realization that he has grown a bit older and the nostalgia of that time when I was a beginner guitarists hit together. Thank you Marty! Marty, since this song is in DADGAD tuning maybe you should do a video on Led Zeppelin Black Mountain Slide which is also in DADGAD tuning. Sometimes its good to have multiple songs to work on within the same tuning to work on different skills and different muscle's in the hands and fingers.
