Really nice lesson. After 30 years (or possibly more), I finally just sat down to learn this solo, and did so in under an hour with this lesson. Easy to follow, good pace, and repeatedly backtracking and starting from the beginning really helps. Thx.

Just one thing.. on the A arpeggio, you're playing an extra note. For anyone else struggling with this part, the notes are: 12th fret (A string) 11th fret (D string) 9th fret (G string) 10th fret (B string) 9th fret (High e) then bend on the 12th fret (High e) It's closer to the record and easier to play. Instead of cramming in 7 notes, you're playing 6 in the same amount of time. I'm not knocking the lesson, it gave me the the overall structure and you are a great teacher! Cheers Marty!

Marty, such good stuff. Thanks brother. I feel like I know you I spend so much time on your tutorials. I definitely appreciate the little stuff like "showing the D-shape" on the E arpeggio and the Dmin arpeggio. Makes it so much easier to remember. I immediately plugged in to the minor scale shape, but the arpeggio is a little deferent way to think about the solo and it makes so much more sense to think of it that way.

Just wanted to say that I’ve been trying to play this lead for years and the only reason I have learnt it after so long is because of your videos The time you spend showing each note an which string to go to and which fret etc and repeating the same till we get it makes your videos different from others .
