You are an amazing teacher! After 30 years of playing acoustic rhythm Country guitar with open chords, I'm having a blast learning classic rock power chords and riffs on my kid's electric. Guitar is finally fun again!

Lovin' the southern rock major pentatonic lessons. Your Allman Brother lessons are great, Marty. As time allows sure hope you can get more into them, like the style of Duane & one of the most under rated players of the past 50 years Mr.Dickey Betts. Dickey's playing is awesome to hear & see, what a southern rock master!

mind= blown. Marty, your method of teaching is magic. suddenly music was coming from my fingers instead of just notes that vaguely resemble a song. Another great lesson. Thanks :)

This one’s easier said than done. I do a lot of reaching down for those b and e adds on g bends but that stretch while holding both is for sure pushing my limits of what I’m used to doing so I’m excited to feel challenged.

A NEW STYLE ADVANCED LESSON? Many of us have played for yearned appreciate a faster lesson. After a while you can play what you hear and if you have someone playing parts we can just pick it up by ear. For example take a Gilmore solo and play a few bars. Maybe say scale and position and then run through it pausing after every phrase for a moment. We can listen then play and then rewind to confirm we have it right. A hyper speed lesson for players who have their scales and ear developed. But would like to see someone play the part to get position. ?????
