Hey everyone! As you might have noticed I've not been posting too many videos recently. Got super busy with my job and also been really consumed trying to find a place to live. Rent in Amsterdam is crazy expensive, but hope to move there soon. Videos will continue to a more normal pace the coming weeks, with 2-3 videos a week on average. Got some personal ideas that I've always wanted to write out on the future of Starcraft, there's so much opportunity just looking at the size of the audience for SC2HL/Lowko/Harstem/GiantGrantGames. Personally hope for a bit of a resurgence this year, but changes do need to happen to make it more appealing to play for the casual audience.

Two channels I like are SC2HL and Starcraft2Shorts. However, I feel SC2HL videos have gotten really long, and the shorts videos are a bit too short. Maybe do what Harstem does and have a few different shows. You could have some shorter videos by doing things like unit highlights, big plays, or unique builds. Do the longer videos of series more sparingly. It will be easier to upload more if your videos are 5 minute highlight reels instead of 20+ minutes.

Also just my two cents, Maru wins most games with mind games. He knows when to transition his army and plays to counter opponents. Notice the early battle cruiser pressure forcing Zerg hand to mass corrupter, which only can viably transition to brood lord, which is exactly where Maru wants him when he makes his Thor hellbat transition. To be fair though I’m tired of casters calling most meta Zerg armies “mid-game” armies when they are forced to exist by opponents. All casters be like “just have every Zerg tech finished at 12 minutes in while playing against one of the world’s greatest 4Head”

I’ve never actually seen Mech beat a Zerg before, they just have too many tools to deal with this style lol Edit: I stand corrected, should have watched the whole video

@@popeneiad7968 I've seen it a few times. Normally its the ghost's and BCs that do most of the heavy lifting, to be fair, and it's always a bit scrappy, but it definitely works. It's bassically a battle of the spellcasters, EMP and snipe taking down vipers and infestors, with BCs yamato giving terran the alpha strike advantage. After that, much as you see here, mech does just overpower most of zergs stuff.

Gosh I missed watching Maru so much, loved the first game a lot, the second game though was surprising, I was sure that he loss the game the moment the broodlords started pounding at his production, but the guerilla siege tanks and hellions managed to do enough damage for him to hold on with his Thors.

ravagers are NOT good against thors, in fact the only combat unit that can beat a group of thors are lurkers only if the thors try to fight offensively against the lurkers.... infestors/vipers are necessary to beat thors...
