no doubt about it. He's already good just for reaching gsl r24 tbh. experience is always a great teacher. Maru is a veteran and has a lot of combat experience(tournaments) compared to nightmare. So, the pressure is real for nightmare.

3 times today Nightmare lost because the core of his army was just sent into the enemy army like that without watching it :( First the disruptors in this game, then the colossus/immortal/sentries, and then the 2 voids... I wonder if any of that was because of the lag they kept having in today's games? (Especially the 2 Voids, the first 2 may have just been F2 moves)

True, but you have to realize he was going up against insane multitasking people. He did do mistakes however I think he was definitely getting overwhelmed by Maru who definitely outclasses him Nightmare definitely showed though why he earned to be in Ro24 and did do some good stuff with disruptor balls and force fields.

You do not move your army into the enemy because of lag, if you stressed out you do. Also lag effects everything and he did micro his other units just fine.

The insane amount of pressure from maru's attacks coming from all angles misrallied those disruptors. Nightmare no doubt is a good player for reaching gsl but maru just outplayed him in every turns. In terms of handling pressure, maru's been into a lot of high stress environments(tournaments lan/online) compared to nightmare i think.

He was probably pushing himself really really hard to keep up, so I can see why he may have wanted to F2 his army to be a bit faster, and his Colossus/Immortal/Sentry were out of position a little (if he was a bit more to the right he could have FF'd the whole ramp). The 2 voids just attacking and dying is weird though. If the lag spiked slightly and erased a click from him it may have made sense, if he thought he pulled them back but it didn't go through. They didn't specify if it was connection lag or computer lag. Also could just be stress/nerves though.

@@YoshiKirishima Yeah, the difference in skill level is so clear. NIghtmare kept taking so many trades that are not efficient. And we all know maru, Maru always forces trades to be in his favor. TO me, everything went spiral when the 1st warp prism got shutdown unnecessarily, he should have waited for the immortal instead of pushing with stalkers. Pro gamers are like saiyans, they just keep getting stronger every fight experience they had. NIghtmare will become much better as time progresses, I'm sure of that.

Na Maru just builds them consistenly - and nightmare doesn't. Also a hallmark of a great player to not forget the little things while doing the fancy stuff at the same time.

Imagine you loose 40SCVs and only kill 15 and you still win because enemy couldn't get Disrupters fast enough!

Well he still had 40+mules vs 60 probes, so while he lost alot more the economy was almost even. At that point nighmare lost 2k minerals more. And then maru won the next ecounter, both lost a base however nightmare lost alot more army. And after that maru had more mining bases, so he won.

Just a couple disruptors are enough to keep Maru's superior army at bay. Terran really is the weakest faction out of all.

They are probably not to your taste but the SC2 community grew up with them and we like/get their style of jokes/humor rather than for a pretend exciting voice (which isn't a bad thing). But other casters may suite you more.
