If option for diff lock is given it will be far better as these days 2WD with diff lock few companies provide else if Maruti provides 4WD modes then using 4L with diff option will be far better - Reason Why - as on video - timestamp 18:10, rear right wheel is spinning and traction control will be of no use as wont work, and also option like snow mode is good but if you want to go for off road then this car is not ideal.

People are complaining about lack of sportiness and power. But that isn't the requirement of most people in this segment. What actually matters in this segment is ride quality, ease of driving, good fuel efficiency, reliability, dependability, hassle free ownership and service and most people are happy if the car is effortless in 100 KPH+ highway cruise. Maruti and Toyota have hit that spot perfectly. Instead of sportiness they have gone for a more well rounded package with things that actually make sense.

It would have become a family friendly SUV if it had better boot space. People buying SUVs for families are not very keen on power but they do check fuel prices. This was a great opportunity for Suzuki and Toyota to score in the segment but a lot of families will be deterred by that boot space.

If it's going to compete with Seltos and Creta etc. It has to work on itself more. For example electronically adjustable driver seats, boot space, air purifier etc. Plus the 1.5 ltr engine is just giving 138.6 NM torque only whereas Seltos gives 250 NM torque

Sir, if I drive smart hybrid and mild hybrid both for 1 Lac kms, and if I take Mild hybrid's mileage to be 15kmpl and full hybrid's mileage to be 22kmpl in real life scenario, like using AC all the time , driving with medium to full throttle, or having more people onboard etc. and if we take the price petrol to be constant at 100 rs/ltr. and we do the math for 1 lac kms: for mild hybrid: 1,00,000/15= 6666 (Ltrs of petrol) X 100 (petrol price) = 6,66,666/- rupees of petrol we spend on mild hybrid for 1 lac kms for smart hybrid: 1,00,000/22= 4545 (Ltrs of petrol) X 100 (petrol price) = 4,54,545 /- rupees of petrol we spend on smart/full hybrid for 1 Lac kms This calculation can differ depending on driving styles and the actual mileage of the cars. But the difference of amount of petrol used as per this calculation in both the cars is 2,12,121/- whereas difference of price between Alpha and Alpha+ variants may be 3.5 to 4 lacs . Should one go for mild variants if ventilated seats and a few changes in dashboard colours and highlights is not an issue? Kindly share your thoughts on this!!!

Search on youtube , grand vitara 1250 Km range. Hybrid has been tested on road to give fuel economy of 25-26 kmpl. Toyota has perfected the hybrid powertrain. Toyota Prius gives 25 km/L in city conditions. You should consider Hybrid if you drive 20,000 km per year.

Great video by Rachit as always!! 5 Downside as per me (Checked it when it came to the nearby Nexa Showroom): 1) Strong Hybrid not getting AWD (Big disappointment specially when you pay more) 2) Back seat head space is less. 3) It doesn't look as spacious as other SUVs in the similar segment from inside. 4) Extra black buttons with no usage makes the vehicle look very substandard (Buttons below the AC control segment) 5) Infotainment system could have been a lil better It would have nailed India market, had they worked on these few!! I have no worries, I am getting delivery of my C (Edited: Creta) next week & canceling booking of TGV! 😂

Great Review.. We have a Manual version of this. I would not agree your verdict regarding the bootspace. just two weeks back v were 7 people and had to travel together. So, two adults (height 5.2 and 5.4) sat in the boot, ofcourse not comfortably .. my point is boot space is decent and def way bigger than celerio - you have exaggerated too much by saying its boot is smaller than celario. it easily carries 5 people in the hilly roads of b'lore, very smooth gears, comfortable ride and easy to drive in busy traffic too. Loved it.. Def a great family car!

In articulation even the wheels which are not in contact with the ground are also rotating which means the power is distributed to those wheels also and also in snow mode the wheels slipped of from ice slab and came onto the ground beside and that is when it got the traction and came out of it.

IDK but why is Ventilated Seats, Automatic Transmission and Fully Digital Instrument cluster limited to strong hybrid only meanwhile Hill descent control and paddle shifters only to All grip and Mild hybrid versions respectively only. Very weird

I need to buy SUV(1.5 L naturally aspirated preferred). Budget is around 15L with a buffer of 1-2 lakhs. Running is less about 200-300 km per month. I need good SUV for long drives including Hills. We are a family of 4 and looking for at least 5 seater with good leg room at the rear as we all are tall. I am not thinking much about Turbo. Requirement are below: Safety (possibly 5 star) , 4 wheels disk break and all the airbags Automatic Gear Box Good Ground Clearance Mileage (we can consider Hybrid as well) Resale Value and Good service I thought a lot about New Brezza, Kushaq, S-Cross(new facelift). If facelift of XUV300 comes with Automatic gear box(Not AMT) then I can think about it. Now a days I am also thinking about New Grand Vitara(strong and mild both) but not sure about the safety/strength of this SUV. Please recommend other options as well. XUV400 as well

21L on Road= Zeta+ (Strong Hybrid) 15L on Road= Zeta (Mild Hybrid) 45L on Strong Hybrid = 1000KM (Approximate) 45L on Mild Hybrid = 600KM (Approximate) Is it worth investing 6L extra on strong hybrid or is it worth if i keep that 6L in FD and buy mild hybrid which inturn i think will give decent returns which compensates the strong hybrid mileage. Also in case of strong hybrid after around 8 years should i invest around 6L+ on new battery?? Where as incase of Mild Hybrid, i would have saved 6L initial and also would not require to invest 6L on extra upgradation after 8 years. Please let me know if my calculation is correct?

And I Always Wanted to have a German Sedan Due to their Raw Power and Build Quality along with Best in class Handling. But they always Tend to be a Bit Pricey abb kya kare.
