Nice Video bhai !! I have visited multiple tourist places in mountains and i have observed ki 4x2 Aram se kaam Karti h and 4x4 is very rarely required . Meri swift easily har jagah chadd jatti h its all about driving skills. Yes ! some times its vehicle also but very rarely. Bhai Apki research and Apka explanation acha laga mujhe . Can you make a video on actual difference between 4x4 , AWD , 4WD , FWD , RWD and what are the pros and cons of owning them when you are a normal family person.

Do we need 4x4 system for mountain paved roads? If not then which one is better between RWD or FWD for mountains? Since AWD options are very limited in India.

you may need 4x4 when you are on very steep climb but not necessarily if roads are well paved. as far as RWD vs FWD concern RWD is always better performer on hills because when you climb rear wheel gets more traction so RWD is better on hills . INDIA has options for AWD XUV700, scorpio, Thar, fortuner, compass, tigun, kodiaq, vitara, hyryder, duster, in premium segment wrangler, bmw, GLA, and many more

FWD are least helpful on hills. I had mobilio and marrazzo both with FWD and they were a failure while climbing hills. I have an Innova which is RWD and I found it to be more useful on hills than FWD. Then comes 4WD which is useful only when you get stuck on a bad road or off road where you will need all the 4 wheels to (pull and push you at the same time) get you out of the situation. Then comed AWD which can manage the same situation a little differently. The difference being in 4WD all the 4 wheels will spin to get you out of the situation while in AWD the ECU of the vehicle will decide which tyre is free from ground contact and accordingly decide to stop the power supply and divert the power to rest of wheels which are in contact with the ground.
