The x factor would be to launch it with 4×2, 5 door , zeta starting at around 11 lax, with a center console and bottle holder in door. This will be super hit in rural areas as well as urban areas. Those will be hot cakes

More wise thing would be launch a 4x4 version in Sigma and Delta for 9.99L and 10.99L Really for basic user many features of Zeta is overkill.

the jimny seems to be a bit overprices compared to its competitors imo, if it started from 10L ex showroom it wouldve been an absolute banger but starting from 12.7 L means the on road would be above 14L in my city which would make the jimny seem lacking compared to Thar despite its Offroad ability.

On highways vehicle speed would 100 to 120+ in that speed jimny doesn't feel planted because of low weight and high ground clearance. Usually on highways heavy vehicles or car with low centre of gravity car feel confident.

@@professor3092 i know all of it but again how can it be recommended to anyone as I won't have off-road in my backyard right ? If I need to off-road, i need to drive it on a highway to reach that offroading place and on highway it is not comfortable, so it is more or less an useless product at high cost !

I have driven it, it's totally fine till 100 kmph speed only above that it might be a problem. 100 is enough for Indian Highways you can travel in it no problem.

@@harindergill9528 I differ from that school of that. It’s a perfect mix of wanting a 4x4 and being compact. Besides it’s good enough boot space for a weekend run with family. And it fits the bill for a 3-4 member family perfectly. Yes maybe it’s a lakh expensive as others might feel. But the engineering which is gone into this vehicle is far superior than Thar itself. So for me it’s a no brainer.

I wish they launched Sigma and Delta version for 9.99L and 10.99L Really for basic user many features of Zeta are not of concern. They can launch a version Sigma/Delta without Zeta features Electric ORVM adjust, Defogger and Rear wiper, Auto windows, Steering Mounted Control, No Infotainment, No speakers.
