The most important question....... Maruti shouldn't? Couldn't? Didn't want to? make the Brezza more premium??? Brezza Deserves to be premium and move to the NEXA stores even if it cannibalises the Grand Vitara.

@jaskirat816Ай бұрын
I think it all comes down to what a person wants from his car...for me personally,I wanted a car/suv which is good for relaxed driving...and this is probably the best option I had in the class...as a new brezza owner for 2 years now,I love its ride quality, negligible engine vibration or sound inside the cabin and great low to mid end torque.you don't need to change gears continuously even in the running traffic...for me brezza's 1.5L engine is a gem...I doubt other cars in the segment(mostly with turbocharged 1L engines) can give the lower end and mid end torque like brezza does...the few cons that I felt are 1) comparatively basic interior looks and quality 2) due to the linear power delivery nature of the engine,it takes a little time to get to the necessary power requirement in situations when you need a quick power output.for example when you need a quick overtake.

Brezza is a perfect all rounder for matured people...perfect for crowded city and occational highway run when you follow the speed limit...The engine is super refined, the clutch, the gear butter smooth, silently floats in traffic and power is enough for Indian conditions.....its not a car for enthutiast..that drive at crazy speeds, drag races etc...its a car for practical, matured people that priorotizes reliability, functionality over bling.

Can't agree more. I own a ZXI. After clocking almost 12.5k kms over close to 1.5 years, and driving it in horrible traffic to winding and steep ghat roads of Maharashtra (and a bit of Goa) and kind of regular Pune-Mumbai-Pune trips, I resonate with the points here. One thing I don't agree with with a lot of reviews is the Highway performance. 1. You can cruise between 100-110 easily. 2. It is only after 125-130 (max speed I have ever put it through to would be around 140-145 kmph for around 20-30 seconds only once) that you feel that the car isn't exactly comfortable anymore. But then, you can't and shouldn't over-speed beyond 120kmph. Indian roads are not meant for that with all the factors. This includes the Expressways as well. Major missing - a 6th gear on the manual. The RPM hits 3k on the tachometer when you are around 105. Pickup is great if you want to press the throttle, but as you mentioned, it's mainly for relaxed driving. Little cons for me after all this while: 1. Interiors, mainly the stock seat cushions. 2. Android auto is buggy, despite the updates. 3. Little Body roll (expected in a vehicle like this) that requires you to be aware over the curves / turnings. 4. Occasional struggles in going up very steep climbs even on 2nd gear with a loaded setup. Cheers!

Own the ZXI Smart hybrid. The best thing is the "Chiuuuuu" sound the regenerating motor makes when you decelerate at speeds above 20kmph. Irony is that people thought nexon with its Diesel, petrol and cng will dethrone it but brezza single handedly manages to rule the C-segment Cars. The sales exceed the expectations everytime. Maruti has said that 70% of the brezza's sales are from ZXi and ZXI plus (top end variants). Reaches 100kmph effortlessly and stable too. What it needs is a more premium interior with soft touch materials and a tpms. I always suggest people to go with brezza because of the value it provides and the resale value is just more than enough. Seen people sell their old brezzas with just 20-30% depreciation of the original value. And the sub 4 meter length helps in navigating the chaotic indian traffic.

As a proud owner of the car and a designer myself, I find that, brezza has the best SUV-ish stance and road presence when compared to its competitors. It looks great from all angles while competitors look only good in specific angles and has hatchback designs. The engine and automatic gearbox combination is the most Refined and Reliable in the segment. If you are a relaxed driver, brezza feels home. If you are not, you should look elsewhere. Paddle shifters really help out when you need that extra dose of power. In terms of safety, The car is expected to get 4+ star in the NCAP rating.The body panels have been improved and strengthened from the old brezza which already got 4 stars. One does not miss out of on any safety features too. The Car is fairly loaded in features that are expected in the segment. I feel TPMS and ventilated seats are a major miss. TPMS can be added externally into the car though Interior space is one of the best in segment. 5 medium sized people can easily fit with sufficient headroom and leg space. The feel of the interior could have been improved with lighter colors though. Brezza also gives the best in segment mileage. One can expect 10-14 mileage on city conditions (based on traffic ) and 18-22 on highway trips. Overall...If you want a well Designed, Safe, Refined, Reliable, Spacious, Feature-loaded, Pocket friendly Sub-compact SUV, Brezza is the all-rounder to go for!!😊.

For those who say brezza is not exciting to drive , This 1.5 is the weakest of the lot with just 103 hp , but its powerful than the NAs of its segment, specially the 1.2 NA of the venue, which is way underpowered at just 83ps and its a 1.2 So who will buy a brezza ? So brezza customers are the ones who don't want a turbo but a powerful enough engine which can last more than 10 years , thats why brezza sells more than any in its segment As for the 3xo or the nexon turbos, yes they are more powerful and fun to drive But at what cost ? A turbo is a turbo needs proper maintenance and proper drive because in the long run the NAs will outlast them in terms of longevity A simple turbo replacement might set you back at 85k min Not to say they are not reliable, we can say they are all about performance So for me comparing a 1.5 NA to a turbo is a lost cause.

Test drove the Brezza Zxi+ today. Outstanding car but with a major con for me - the seat cushion is too soft to support my spine. I faced this same issue when testing out Fronx and Baleno. I guess this is not something Maruti sees as an issue. FYI - Orthopedic foams are high density and firm, never low density and soft. Another con is the lack of features in lower variants, and only 2 airbags even in the top variant. Apart from that, the positives are : - Very Very good audio quality, especially in the 'acoustic' preset done by Arkamys . - Brown accent tones give a dark woody luxurious feel. -Very smooth engine and good automatic transmission. -Silent cabin -Good sedate driving dynamics. But it's a pass from me because of that seat. I got back pain in just 20 mins of test drive.

All said & done. Would say its a most Practical & Reliable Car. It ticks almost all boxes & scores 80-95% marks. Best VFM package with Marutis Trust & Reliability along with best Service Stn network among competition. Followed by Nexon & XUV 3X0. Sonet for good looks, luxurious interiors, Engine & Gearbox options.

@adityasonti9478Ай бұрын
If I may suggest.....Brezza if you want to keep the car for very long time. Kylaq if you like to take car on highways regularly. Brezza is amazing in city only, Kylaq being Skoka will be great on highway too with its turbo engine.

Brezza Negatives : Only top variant gets 6 Airbags and an Armrest, The Steering doesn't Auto Center Brezza Positives: 4 Star Crash test rated, 4 Cylinder 1.5L Butter Smooth Extremely fuel Efficient Engine, Most space in the category, Feels the largest in the category, Has the most space in the category, Great reliability, Great After sales service network and experience. If one wants most of the pros of Brezza in a newer and more modern yet expensive version they can go for Grand Vitara If one wants most of the pros in a more affordable option then they can go with Fronx which comes with 190mm Ground clearance , 1.2L 4 Cylinder engine and all the added pros of being a Suzuki

Simple Buy Baleno instead of this. I dont see any additional value over Baleno to buy this. This car has crazy high tax as it doesnt comply to Sub 4 meter rule (it has 1.5 Engine). The difference for top End Baleno Automatic to Brezza Top End Automatic is 5 Lakhs in Bengaluru which is way too much and all the features are exactly same except to AT and sunroof.

Maruti can come with that 1.0 turbo from fronx with the brezza atleast in its facelift with slight tuning change and bump in power figures anywhere between 100-110 ps and 160-170 nm and keep the necessary features and all necessary safety bits as standard and keeping adas and sunroof only for the top end. Hopefully they give us an optional variant of sunroof and adas as they are useless features in India atleast as of now. All 3 point seal belts, ISO fix mounts, rear washer wiper and defogger and all adjustable headrests for rear passengers as standard or atleast from their VXI variant.

Please do once a month live stream sessions. Where it is just Q and A and discussions. Will help in building up the community. I Need a suggestion I currently drive 2019 scorpio. Running good with a 6.5 Rs per km fuel cost. avg running till now is 1000 km a month which will shoot up to 120 kms a day next month onwards. shifting house. Mulling over to shift to an ev. Nexon LR looks a viable option. Drive of 60 kms one way will have 1 km of dirt road + 45 kms of highway and 14 kms of Bangalore traffic. Any other good alternate?

Hey, I need an opinion I'm planning to buy a bike and I am confused between mostly 2 bikes Xtreme 125r ABS variant - 1.2 lacks on road Raider base (front drum) - 1.06 lacks on road. Should I stretch my budget 14k for Xtreme as I was planning for a commuter like SP125, but since I'm 22 now, Raider and Xtreme are more appealing to me. Raider base drum is just 2k more than SP125 drum. Max budget for me is 1.25 lacks, I'll be paying EMIs, I can stretch upto 4k month which includes 40k down payment and loan for 2 years. Kindly suggest what should I do.

Hi Motorinc, My budget is strictly around 8 lakhs and I am planning to get Baleno Delta. Should I stretch my budget and get Brezza LXi. Most of my drives takes me to mountains so need NA engines that gives great lowend. Had not so pleasing experience with Nexon once when got stuck at around 35 degree incline.
@HashiramaSenyu9 күн бұрын
You should go with brezza definitely. Brezza's 1500cc engine has high Lower end torque than baleno's 1200cc which is highly needed in hilly conditions. And the main reason should be the ground clearance brezza 200mm > baleno's 170 mm.

@motorincАй бұрын
Hullo! It was launched in 22. So we can expect something closer to ‘26.
@kunalsen2123Ай бұрын
The rear window line is too high and may feel claustrophobic to the passengers in the backrow despite the generous headroom. The cladding's too much. Also, minus the roof rails, it looks too chunky and somewhat shapeless. But those design disappointments aside, it's still excellent value on the lower trims, especially with the recent Urbano iterations.

I don’t agree with some points with motorinc. I am an owner of Maruti brezza from past two years and already clocked 12k kms. Yes interior feels outdated but they are built to last. Whatever is given works well without any glitch. Performance is great in city and yes needs a bit downshifting but it is easy to drive with commanding position. Yes Maruti needs to introduce booster jet or 1.2 engine to make it peppier. Space is great in segment and brezza is the only one which looks segment above. With new update Maruti needs to introduce features like ventilated seats, cornering lamps, digital instrument cluster.

I think they should have given it theb1 kitre booster jet engine with the euro spec ecu which pushes the power to 110 bhp and torque to 180 bhp which sounds nicer for the car that size
@motorincАй бұрын
The role of the car has changed, slowly but surely @dhruvmahyavanshi6013, MSIL is just playing to the gallery...
@2WheelsAndRacketsАй бұрын
Maruti could have provided drive modes - eco and sport (for better throttle response) with the automatic. I think that's the biggest miss. Highway drives are very comfortable around 100-110 kmph. I took my parents on 2500 km drive and no one was tired even after a 700 km day.
@motorincАй бұрын
That's great @2WheelsAndRackets! How do you think the driving modes would help?
@2WheelsAndRacketsАй бұрын
@@motorinc The current setup in Brezza automatic is quite dull and tuned for efficiency (as you guys already know). In addition to this, providing a sport mode that shifts later, has better throttle response by playing around with the fuelling would have been nice. I can do all this today but it takes a little effort and revving the engine above 3.5k rpm and aggressive downshifting using paddle shifters.
@nitinkumar29Ай бұрын
If you are not getting mileage of around 20 kmpl on the highway with manual petrol then you need to improve your driving. I had similar experience for a year getting not more than 16 kmpl but then my cousin drove it and got 23 kmpl for 400 km run with 80-90 kmph max speed with ac on, it was a shock for me! He told me to be gentle, feather light with the accelerator pedal. Since then, I try to do what he told me and get around 19 kmpl. So, this car is unbelievable given that it has the right driver. Mileage is definitely not the issue, it has plenty, perhaps much more than one can expect from 1500 cc four-cylinders petrol engine
