In my Swift VDi. 1st generation (type4) 2011 model with 1lakh 60thousand kms on odo I have experienced Maruti service stations are looting customers in every possible way. So from 80thousand kms Im using Mobile1 ES Fx2 5W40 fully Synthetic motor oil with oil change interval at 24500kms. & Glysantin G48 German coolant with change interval of 1lakh Kms or 3 years. Regarding the airfilter it is changed at every 20000kms. Owners manual suggests fuel(Diesel) Filter if made from bosch (spain) should be changed at 30000kms. EGR is Hard deleted by placing a lasercut Stainless steel backing plate at the exhaust port of EGR no more soot deposit & cleaner oil with long drain intervals. So I save twice the service costs Mariti used to charge me & fuel efficiency is 32kmpl (speeds 65 to 75 in 5th Gear) on a 1.6lakhs kms run car. Good day with your stuff.

Hi Arundev, use latex gloves or any rubber gloves when touching oil. It is carcinogenic (can cause cancer), using gloves is safe.

It is 3.2 litres of engine oil that is recommended for 1.3 MJD in Ertiga and not 3.3 litres. And the way the washing is done is incorrect, the ECU was covered which is a good thing but with that kind of water pressure electronics, rubber parts and alternator bearings can be damaged. Avoid water servicing engines. Everything else was done perfectly. Just take it as suggestion. Keep up the good work Arun. I like your videos.

Very helpful, but during service you should pour some oil in the filter element before fitting it, the grade of oil for diesel engine should be W5 -40, you have used 5-30 which is meant for petrol engine. You should have flushed the engine before changing the oil, you have not shown how to drain the coolant and flush the water circulation system with distilled water and radiator flush.

arundev acharya , don't believe in oil manufacture, if your car manufacturers manual recommends W15-40 then it is best to use what is recommended, 5-30 oil is too low viscosity and using it in old engine can cause gasket leàks. Current specifications for fiat diesel engine is 5 -40. any oil lower than 40 is not recommended by any manufacturer of diesel engine.

Arey bhai 15w- 40 use karey to gadi kharab hota. 15w 40 buses aur trucks use kartey. 5W 30 acha oil option hain. Arun did it correct.

few things i noticed in the video which were not appropriate 1 always loosen the oil filter cap first in case of diesel maruti car. coz it releases the vaccume and complete engine oil gets drained 2 never touch the diesel filter with bare dirty hands 3 service life of diesel filter given by MSIL is 20000 km not 30000km 4 2 liter golden cruiser is required for fullfilling the coolant capacity.. 5 60k service also requires a brake fluid replacement.. with regards Rohit Pawar (silver certificate holder MSIL)
