Maruti Suzuki SLDA Software Update 1760.2 ( Oct 9, 2018) for Baleno, Ciaz, Brezza, Ignis

Hi guys Maruti has just released the latest software update which is 1760.2 and 1860.2 for Eastern Countries for it's latest cars which are Baleno, Ciaz, Brezza, Ignis, Ertiga, New Swift, New Dzire.
Below are the problems that were in the previous version and are now resolved in the latest version :
1. SLDA may not respond properly while playing High Resolution videos.
2. Touchscreen not responding.
3. SLDA may reboot, when phone is connected through Bluetooth.
4. SLDA may not respond properly during playback of the last song through USB.
5. Carplay may not auto-connect during SLDA restarting
6. Audio from Radio may not be heard under specific conditions.

Applicable model : CIAZ ( ZDI+, ZXI+, ALPHA), S-Cross ( ZETA, ALPHA), ERTIGA ( ZDI+, ZXI+), BALENO ( ALPHA), VITARA BREZZA ( ZDI+), IGNIS ( ALPHA), NEW DZIRE ( ZDI+, ZXI+), NEW SWIFT (ZDI+, ZXI+)
Please note that this is official software update and the files are also original.
Precautions & Method to do the software update :
1. Download the zip file named "1760_2" from the dropbox link provided.
2. Extract the files in a USB pendrive
3. The pendrive should not contain any other files other than all 14 software files. Always ensure that 14 files are there before beginning the update.
4. Do not switch off the Accessory/Vehicle ignition/ SLDA display screen or crank the vehicle while software update is going on. It may corrupt the entire SLDA software. This may lead to SLDA replacement and such warranty claim will be put under rejection category.
4. Plug the USB in your car usb port and system will automatically start updating the software.
5. Do not panic if the screen turns black during software update ( this is normal).
6. The software update may restart again even after partial completion of update. This is a normal phenomenon.

Please follow the instructions in the video. Tried on my scross 2016, no issues. Do not panic if it restarts around 77% consider it to be a part of process. Took around 25 mins for me.

I was facing an issue when I had the 1750 update. My iPhone X was pairing via bluetooth but I couldn't play songs as it showed 'device does not contain media files'. So I thought after this new update that issue will be solved. I updated my system as per the steps you provided and it worked like a gem, but still the issue is persisting.

Due to apple privacy issues, the system cannot directly read the music files of your iPhone , you need to connect via a USB cable to use apple CarPlay

The Unit does support FM RDS function but it's upto the FM stations, if they send more information than just normal radio frequency....if they send it our unit will certainly display that. We couldn't be certain if they send or not.

Techie Sihag In Delhi most FM station uses RDS function atleast for station name and some stations shows full details like song name artist name what next etc but this system is not showing even station name.

Why are you downloading from Bosch website ? That isn't finished software, it's open source code which developers use to create original software.....please download from the link i have given and also there's a new update of this slda, i have posted a new video on my channel , check that out

Cable is required to connect with Android auto and if you wanna use google maps, otherwise if you wanna use company inbuilt maps function ( which is useless by the way) then no need for USB cable

Yes it is....you just need to have the files, the sytem will warn you that you're downgrading but you can do so anyway

Bro sometimes it takes time, if you had to wait for more than 5 minutes just turn off your car and then wait for 2-3 minutes and then start the car again (not the engine unless you're feeling hot in summer 😂) and then try it again

Bro please make sure you are using USB 3.0 drive and only those 14 files are there in your pendrive and nothing else, in some cases it can take upto 1 minute for the setup process to show up

hello again. do you have upgrade files for 1760.1 version? Actually i upgraded system because 1760.1 firmware have problem in Android Auto that when google map and and music from mobile is playing together the music cuts/stutters a lot also 1760.1 have FM problem where station keep switching to mono automatically which downgrades the music quality these 2 problem is solved in 1760.2 but android auto becomes slow i mean very slow. Today i was going somewhere and map showing my location 2.5 KM behind. the map was showing correct route and pointer is moving and distance was also decreasing but my location on map is 2.5km behind. i have to right turn but map shows turn is still 2.5KM ahead but actually it is exactly where i was. Android Auto GUI becomes slow in 1760.2 .

A shame Suzuki and/or Bosch don't make their updates available to the public.You should be able to go to their website, enter your unit's serial number, and then just download the latest firmware. Also a shame to have to pay for latest map data, in 2019. At least there's Android Auto.

Apparently: "1770_181026 is not a major update. As per MSIL Circular, the 1770 update is intended to solve: Driving at Night screen may illuminate sometimes. Call by “Contact Name” not working sometimes, while calling through Bluetooth. Bluetooth related issue with Apple IOS. Altitude reading in “Position & GPS” info option had the least count of 1 km, after 999 meters, which has been now converted to 1 meter."
