Please extract the zip file and put all the files directly in the root folder of an empty and FAT32 formatted USB 2.0 pen drive.
Press and hold the settings button for 10 seconds to find your current software version.

Please install android auto app in your mobile before using it in the car
Use a good quality data cable preferably the original one
Important points to be noted:
1. Ensure that all 14 files are there in pen drive before beginning the process.
2. The entire process takes 18-20mins. So be prepared for that.
3. Do not switch ON/OFF the Vehicle ignition while SLDA update is going on as it will corrupt the SLDA software and warranty will be void.
4. Do not panic if the screen turns blank during software update.
5. At 1% the update will stay for a while [2-3 Mins]. It’s part of the process and don't panic.
6. Do not remove pen drive while Update is still being in process.
7. Remove the pen drive as soon as screen command prompts.
8. Once the process finishes, the system will reboot 2 times. It takes time, so be prepared.
9. After the second reboot, there won’t be any display. Don’t panic here. Just press the power button. All should be well.

Following Suzuki International vehicles are supported:

Amazing. I just bought a 2017 Suzuki Vitara and it was the old software. Did exactly what the video said. The only difference I experienced was that it got to about 80 and then restarted, but I just let it go again, it sat at 78 for ageeees, but eventually continued and finished, and now my pixel 6 works with the car 😁😁 thank you Mr KZbin creator.

Just a small tip from my side before updating software don't try android auto with latest data cables which come with red colour connector inside try with old cables which come with black connector it works for me though I update the software also thanks for the link

I think 1890 is for EU, I just updated my vitara 2017 and it worked fine. It does take a long time though so patience is a must. Im based in the UK by the way

Thank you Tushar for the update :) Big improvement for me is that my S20 is now recognized as compatible phone with Android 11, though in 1780 update wasn't recognized, even using same original cable. It is very nice to use Android Auto with this version of SLDA. It might be that many other Android phones using Android 11 to become compatible. A big thanks from me (Y)

Nitin, I just followed the steps in the video. From the original version I just have updated every time with newer appeared version, so my last update was from 1780. You might need to go thru intermediate updates, not sure what is the version you have right now. If there is anything I can help with, I will. But I just followed the steps in video for every update.

2016 Suzuki Vitara and it was the old software version 850. Works like a charm, just follow the procedure which is listed above. It took me 50 mn to upgrade. Tank you a lot :)

Thank you Tushar, updated my baleno from 750 version to 1780. At around 77% the screen went black and process restarted from 0. I waited patiently and within 15 minutes the system got updated as shown in the video. Android auto and the system work smoothly. Glad he gave drive links of the files. This is the best video on YT regarding Maruti SLDA update.

En mi caso recién habia comprado la Vitara 2016, por lo que veo nunca fue actualizada porque no funcionaba Android auto. Al ingresar la USB empezo a cargar hasta el 80% y volvio a la pantalla blanca. Empezó de 0% la actualización pero viendo otros videos menciona que si tu software es muy antiguo puede hacer eso. La segunda vez si llego al 100% sin ningun problema y actualizo. Ahora ya no tengo ningún problema con Android auto funciona perfecto

I have updated s-cross 2016 model from version 1770 to 1780. The process was smooth but once update was completed the system shut down and restarted only once, not twice, and thereafter the screen went blank. I have waited for 45 minutes to witness any activity but nothing such happened. Hence I just turned off the car and restarted it after 15 seconds. The maruti logo was displayed on screen but soon after the screen went blank. I was confused, started tapping here & there and suddenly pressed the display power on button and vollah ... the screen turned on again. I have actually misunderstood the video and trying to power on the car instead of powering on the screen. Thanks Tushar for your wonderful step by step narration 🙏

Puedes checar la versión, al meterte al menú de la versión ahí dice, por ejemplo la mía decía 1780_18XX y ahora dice _19, en la descripción el tipo pone que archivos descargar, si no sabes, puedes mandarme un telegram o intentar con todos los archivos que dice el chavo, solo ten en cuenta que si vas a probar todas vas a usar como 4 a 5h en descargar formatear y eso

I made the mistake to not remove usb when promoted, it tried installing firmware again the failed. I panicked, turned the car off and on, then ran the installation again, which worked. Phew. I updated from 1770 to 1780 and it seems to have helped with connectivity. Previously it always disconnected. Let’s see if it continues to work well.

I have downloaded your file with the last version 1890 however during the upgrading and after 23-24/100 it shows a message saying something like "Insert update media and remove others" and the system starts a shutting down process in a loop and not working anymore. Hiya Tushar! Ahhh I've spent about 6 hours trying to do this earlier today and really struggled with the zip file extraction. Im very tech savvy so i was very surprised that i found this so stressful! 😞 and Id really really appreciate your help!! Basically, my issue is that i unzipped the overarching file, and it shows the 14 files, but then some of these 14 files are zip files too, so i went through them 1 by 1 and opened each, and continued to open all others that followed, until i got down to the single files in the folder.. i ended up with hundreds of files and then lost track of which ones i had already copied and pasted to my usb stick and which ones were left :-( .. i eventually gave up! I've decided to do one last google for help though, and just found this post.. this suggests that you only need to unzip the main folder and then the 14 files need to be copied to a usb/SD card - regardless of the fact that some of these 14 files are zipped and that they contain subfolders. Can you please confirm this for me (i.e is this right, or do i need to keep opening all sub folders and their sub folders as i was doing - which seemed a nightmare and took hours)? thanks a lot in advance!
