Marvel 1995 Overpower cards are they worth investing in?

Today I am looking at 1995 Marvel Overpower cards and why I think they are worth looking into. Pokemon comes to my mind.
As always this is my opinion is completely speculative, please do your own research and enjoy yourself.

Im the artist on some of these Overpower cards!(did like 40 total for Fleer in Mt Laurel NJ back in 1993) I did that Deadpool rookie and that electro right there. I can prove it because i still have the photoshop files that made them i even have the cyclops and dr doom sketches. Funny trivia the Cyclops standing on the cliff shooting up in the air( I did as well) was also a prize in Berry Berry Kix cereal lol

It's funny that this video popped up in my feed, and how the prices will spike in all of these cards as the game is being re-released.

Been into the attic and found my Over Power Marvel cards, about 200 of them - the original 1995 version - and also 1 pack of the Batman/Superman DC Over Power. These cards came in packs of 60 or so in a card box - like a pack of playing cards. Also the corners are rounded - both of these things probably help the high % of 10's. In my cards I had four of the Wolverine Fighting 6 card that shows as selling for $454 in a PSA 10.. I think if you can pick these up for say £10 per pack they could be a good investment - but I wouldn't pay more than 30p/card - I think there are lots out there and once they start to hit PSA and the other grading companies the 10 population will grow and the prices will cool. On the other hand anything Marvel is hot right now, and these hit the sweet spot for 40 somethings from sports cards and Pokemon cards looking for alternate investments. I'm going to buy cheap and hold and watch the market for the next 18 months.

HOLY CRAP. I HAVE A BUNCH OF THESE CARDS FROM WHEN I WAS 4 AND JUST WANTED THEM BECAUSE I SAW SPIDERMAN!! I had a box of old collectable cards, and i went through it, found these cards, And i pulled the deadpool card out, and have been using it as a bookmark for the past 5 months lololol

Also these cards were made of material that felt like some type of clothlike texture. they were hard to damage.

I won quite a few tournaments back in the day.. I have uncut signed sheets of those cards. They were prizes for winning.

I have a set of the 1995 cards, I was 11 years old at the time, I never got anybody to play it, I just thought they looked cool! I think the only rare one I have is the Apocalypse character card. Oh ya I have that $1000 deadpool card you showed LOL Seems too good to be true.. I have about a 3 inch thick stack of cards. Wondering what to do with them.

hello im from new Zealand & i use to play this game as a kid back in 95, i have a lot of these cards, that i put away, as, i have founld any1 where i live that plays it, should i sell them or keen them, my sons not keen to play lol
