Robert pointing out the issue along with Scarlett is wonderful. He was asked inappropriate questions in interviews too and seeing him call out this behavior for his co-stars in such a cool-headed manner is always respectable. Much love to RDJ. And props to Scarlett and how she handled those questions. Must be exhausting to be asked the same questions over and over again about your looks and clothes.

What is she supposed to be asked? Her entire character is literally about "looks and clothes"
@etainvelorum58142 ай бұрын
@@tajemniczywasacz Stunts, the set, interactions with co-stars, behind the scenes, how she gets into character, etc. You can make the same argument for all the actors about looks and clothes, but there's a lot more than that which goes into the movies. There's a lot more to Black Widow just like the other heroes.
@tajemniczywasacz2 ай бұрын
@@etainvelorum5814 Well there is this usual stuff as well, but looks and clothes are the main thing about black widow. An interview without mentioning it would be kind of lacking. And I find her way of approaching this topic inadequate as well, it seems hypocritical. Like if you wanna act in the way of "Why would you even ask this question? What the hell, it's so weird" then just don't play that kind of character in the first place
@etainvelorum58142 ай бұрын
@@tajemniczywasacz No one would have minded questions about any costumes that the cast wore. When we think of Thor or Captain America, their suits are iconic and will be talked about a lot. Being asked repeatedly about your butt, however, is awkward. Is she beautiful? Yes, but she's had interviewers who were straight up perverted and she felt uncomfortable. Same would go for any woman who had to take up that role if Scarlett didn't. The suits are iconic and appealing, but we don't have to be creepy about it and not get to know the actual people. Again, there's more to Black Widow as an overall character just like the others. Imagine being asked the same question over and over again while others get more diverse ones. No one wants to know more about you even though you do contribute to the team and your character has a lot of depth. Even exiting the theaters, we thought Black Widow was mysterious and wanted to know more about where she came from and what she went through. The signature outfits for any of these heroes is not a justifiable reason to overstep boundaries and not get to know that person. That's the interviewer's job; to learn more about the actors and actresses themselves and getting into these characters and their mindsets.

Just some questions I would have asked Scarlett that aren’t about her fucking suit or the way her body looks; Did you have to learn any martial arts for your fight scenes? Do you think there will ever be a solo movie about how Natasha became a black widow? If you weren’t an actress would you be a spy, and if yes, do you think you’d be as good as Natasha? What special message do you want young girls/other women to take away from Natasha’s story and character development? We saw how Wanda could have very well killed thanos by herself had he not called for an aerial strike, do you believe black widow could have taken on thanos by herself and succeeded? What personal traits from yourself do you see in the character you play? Is there anything in the way Natasha carries herself that you look at and go “man I wish I was like that”? Do you think Steve and Natasha should have ended up together? Do you think Natasha would have tried to be with Banner even after he remained in his hulk form 5 years after the first snap? What DC hero/villain would you like to see black widow win against? Even if Clint didn’t have a family, do you think it was appropriate for Natasha to sacrifice herself for the soul stone to be obtained or should it have been him? How long had you known your character was gonna die before you filmed it? What were you most excited about in taking on this role? Did you have to read the comics as a form of prep work? Do you feel that you will still have a strong relationship with any of your costars long after you’re done with the franchise? What’s your favorite line from your character? Edit: you guys I would LOVE to ask Scarlett these questions, if I ever become famous and meet her I will ask if she’s willing to answer some non-sexist black widow questions on camera/voice recording and I will come back here and give y’all the heads up😂

Your first question is pretty much the same question I've been wishing interviewers would ask. I'd love to know if she learned any specific martial art(s), and if so, what her training schedule was like, and if she found it enjoyable enough to continue in her own time, or if it was just a "work thing". The ONLY question about costumes I'm interested in should be directed to entire cast: All of your costumes look magnificent on screen. How practical were they in real life, and did you find you had to modify and/or exaggerate your normal movements in order to achieve the right look or pose?
