Have got this and both Cyclops/Jean Grey and ready to dive into it this weekend. Don’t know what it is about The Sentinels but they just translate so well mechanically to many types of games out there. Thanks for the excited attitude as well in the review Roy!

Great review! 10/10 I completely agree with! X-Men and this set revitalized my interest in this game as the last thing I had got was MTS and War Machine. I think this is the best campaign expansion yet, for both quests and heroes. Also after beating this campaign with Cyclops I picked up Venom, SP//DR and Sinister Motives and blasted through that too. Love this game! Now just give us Punisher FFG!

Sigh, this (alongside Wolverine) might finally tip me over to investing in MC. Always been an X Men guy since the 90s cartoon and the Jim Lee run. I just have SO MUCH Legendary, that I feel I have enough Marvel on my shelves as is, and it seems like so much $$$ to get into Champions. We'll see how the holiday season pans out...

I’m on the fence with this bc we have about half of what’s already out for Marvel Champions… I like the game but I still haven’t gotten any of the GotG sets to the table yet. Wolverine is appealing me to add in some XMen to Champions. I’m afraid if I give an inch on the XMen team that the old completionist will kick in and I’ve got to catch them all, Pokémon style 😂

Bait and Switch, Toe to Toe, Ready to Rumble... too many reprints. There really shouldn't be any outside of the resource cards, which thank heavens they put new art on. Every campaign also brings in minor variations of previous cards but with the new tribal keyword (X-Men/web warrior etc) that can make for some lazy card designs and hurdles for deck building (some of it makes sense and is interesting but others are not). Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game (7 out of 10 for me) I just don't get why I never hear any criticism of this.

Colossus Tough card resource cost is good idea, but with so few ways to get Tough it makes Colosus a weak character. Organic Steel at start should be Iron Will.
