I disagree with the comment that things do not carry forward from scenario to scenario in the campaign. It does happen but the effect is minor. In the end, people wanting an engaging story like you get with Arkham will never get it here. It's story light which is ironically why i like it more. I prefer to make my own story and not be dragged around by the nose by the developers narrative.

I believe a little later in the video it is clarified you don't carry over from expansion to expansion. @8:04 I also like the short "story" style, but think I would also like to see where an Arkham Horror LCG type of ongoing "story" would go.

@@CruJones I think the one reason I don't care for story heavy games is I'm the type of person who only reads a book once. After i know the story i don't care to reread it. What would be great to me is to have enough generic campaign elements available that people could put together their own campaign sequence of encounters - not sure how that could work.

@@darrenmatthews1667 I definitely see where you're coming from and agree with your points. Just to throw in my POV. A longer story typically gets me excited about looking forward to what might happen next and what twists and turns may happen. I feel it's more of a personal experience over the shorter scenarios which, you are correct, can be replayed in your own way as well as can be shared with others easily. It's great we have all kinds of games to scratch our own itch(es).
