Is she a villain same for Kilmonger they are not the ones actively laying siege to a country they have instead come in defense, mutants will kill including the X Men. Based on the Ultimate universe set up she is not established as a culprit of the Illuminati world deception of heroes and villains acting out roles. One thing I dislike about entertainment media in America, Is that they act like Africa is the size of New Jersey. The distance of east and west Africa is tremendous, as is the difference of culture and city construction. It shows a lack of an attempt to research or make it seem believable.

Yes Africa's is made up of 54 different countries, and the vast distance between them, is enormous, of course there is several countries that are very near each other in a regional sense, I think they are trying to say that wakanda is a neighboring country to West Africa, but West Africa is a part of a region, but what country are they talking about that is part of West Africa, my ancestor came from a country that is located in West Africa and in this storyline they act like West Africa is a country itself.

Now since this is an Alternate Universe, I would make T’challa have more of an bald fade hairstyle with NO BEARD or any other facial hair. Give him hunter eyes, defined cheekbones and an strong jawline. I would also make him more Jacked, hung and Taller. Bodybuilder type and 6’2. He’s physique should look like one of those Super Buff Anime characters.

This looks good! Now If I was one of the writers, I would make T’challa as a Scientist, Inventor, Educator, King filled with honor, wisdom and love for his country. I would still make him one of the smartest people in the universe like Tony Stark and Reed Richards. T’challa doesn’t need shuri or any other C-list characters stealing the spotlight from him, (regardless of an alternate universe) he needs to be intelligent and agency of being an hero on his own. (If you don’t count his armies and the council.)

Black Panther being with Okoye is probably better anyways. They should do that in the 616 universe. As cool as his relationship coulda been, and as much as I liked the idea of Black Panther and Storm, they just didn't handle that right in the slightest. Storm took a lil dip from it too in my eyes if I'm being honest. It is pretty interesting though that Killmonger and Storm showed up here together. That might be interesting. Unfortunately it sounds like Shuri is still pretty similar to her 616 counterpart, if not worse, in the way she acts. I can sense some conflict arising from that in the future. Overall it seems like a pretty solid start.

Rob, you missed an important part towards the end on the floating platform, T’Challa survived thanks to his father T’Chaka sacrificing himself by pushing him off the platform before the bomb exploded. This is one of the reasons Wakanda is going to war.

I just finished reading issue 1-5. Honestly, I have never read a BP comic because he has such a large library but I loved it. The art is amazing and the story is very digestible and new reader friendly. I’m definitely going to check out the next issue and even older BP comics.
