Is it me or is the idea of yet another Superman movie a little underwhelming? I’m just not overly excited about this movie. The DC universe is so huge and here we go again, it’s Superman or Batman. I’m so much more excited about the idea of a Black Panther 3. Please give us something other than the same ole characters. I think that’s why Penguin was a hit because we finally got to focus on other characters. I’m just a little burnt out from seeing the same characters on screen and would like to see something different.

I didn't expect to see RB3 on the show. This was a nice surprise. I always loved that dude! I'm also glad he feels the same way I do in that Reeves' Batman should be part of the DCU. However, I adamantly disagree with him about Sydney Sweeney not being a good actress. Come on, man lol. As for Superman's trunks, I've always found that part of the costume to be silly. I'm glad the DCEU version and CW version ditched it. It looks so much better without it, but it won't be a deal breaker if it's in the DCU. It's minor thing.

Oh, I’m listening to the podcast, but just wanted to comment: I totally agree with RB3 on they should just put Robert Pattinson in the DCU… I never understood the argument not to just because the tones were different… tones are different in the comics and then changes when they team up. That’s the point. You can still keep tones differently while having them be in the same universe… I feel the Arrowverse proved this. Arrow was more grounded I. Realism where Flash became more fantastical. And when they teams up, it was awesome. Same with Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow. They proved having different tones for each of the shows worked.

Okay weird development for me here: Thor Love and Thunder has become legitimately funny after a 2nd viewing - as opposed to be erroneously or ironically funny. I found myself laughing while trying hard not to. Christian Bale’s facial expressions were huh-larious. I know. Thor should not be slapstick. We want him to be a real person to a degree. This was not that. It was a total comedy. It chose funnies over anything else. And the look of it was kind of weirdly McDonald’s happy meal like. Buuuuuut it had me legit laughing. lol 🤷🏿‍♂️
