What scale did you order them as?

For C27 models, I tend to just print as is. Never really needed to resize them. Some other studios, like Trident, I tend to scale to about 92-95% of their file size, because they are a tad bulkier

Hello. Interesting but because of the X men dice it was a little boring...By the way we never see the Gambit's, Colossus and Rogue's cards...The next time: play, check the rules, cut and play...By the way if you pay 2 powers to roll 2 dice with colossus you don't have to pay another 2 powers to defend a rapid fire: automatic pistols is an attack and rapide fire is not a new attack.

Well, dice gonna dice. Not sure what to tell you on that front. As for the cards, because at the time of filming, none of those cards had been revealed by AMG directly, I opted to keep them off the camera, as to avoid any possible issues that could arise from it. Juggernaut has since been revealed, and rogues was revealed back in September, if I recall. Gambit and Colossus have yet to be shown off, officially, if I recall. Regardless, thanks for watching, and I hope you give some of the other videos a shot, and find them more entertaining!

Hey Hank just wanted to check what you are referring to here, if you pay 2 power to boost your stats with colossus it will work on the first rapid fire, if the rapid fire triggers it is a new attack and the dice boost would need to be paid for again. If you bodyguard with colossus (doesn't work with mystique) then the subsequent attack would also go into colossus as he became the target of the original attack, so he wouldn't need to bodyguard twice.

hey I think there was something off about your token placement or something, Toad shouldnt be able to grab the extract, even with his range 2 rule with a single movement

Truth be, the angle was kind of tricky to get an accurate read on it, so you may very well be right on that matter. We should really have a tape measure to break out and check distance that way in those cases.

@@AegisbrandStudios yep it's often tricky wiggling measuring sticks over buildings. Even with a straight unobstructed line he can't grab and run so I think deployment must have been off if you're using a 3x3 mat

@@arron1980s we have had some suspicions that the mat, itself, may actually be a bit off. We have had a couple odd interactions where the spacing seemed off once in use. I think I will have to give it a good measuring

Very nice game guys! Could you list the exact paints you used for the Juggernaut. I ordered the same model and I'm especially curious about the paint you used for the flesh tone

Oh man... Been a bit since I painted him. Let me see if I remember The red armour was skrag brown with flesh testers contrast paint apples thinly over top, and then washed. The flesh, if I recall, was bugman's flesh base, with cadian flesh tone mixed in gradually, to build up the layers until a satisfying look

Toad cannot use Slippery after Rogues Mutant Absorption as its not an attack.

Also Colossus cant increase his defense against Mystique as its a reactive super power.

Troope ended up remembering Mystique's ability to shut reactive a later in the game, but it was an unfortunate miss on our part. As for Slippery, good catch. We had. It thought about the fact it was not an attack

Bad rolls aside why are the Xmen so bad in MCP? Every rep I watch they lose and usually badly. Rogue and Gambit seem to help somewhat but their iconic characters are just not potent enough IMO. You didn’t even play with magneto which is just nuts with juggernaut. I hope they rebalance sooner than later. Their biggest strength should be the teamwork or leadership abilities. Stronger cards for taking characters together. And stronger leadership affiliation powers/skills for only taking affiliated heroes. I want to play thematic teams, not op unaffiliated characters to make them even viable. Thoughts?

I find the biggest challenge the X-Men face is that they are often so power starved. It always kind of feels like each of their abilities or attacks is just a little to expensive, or that to get the most of them, they need to be using as many powers/abilities as possible, whenever, meaning they rarely have power for their big stuff. Their leaders are a whole other issue. Storm's leadership is solid, but the rest of her card is meh. Cyclop's leadership is there, and he is meh, himself. They definitely need a little bit to make them a bit more competitive

A lot of placements from the Storm leadership didn't get used this game, which really messed up their often stellar action efficiency. In general, you really need to practice with the X-men to get the most out of them. When you do, they are a very effective affiliation.
