Marvel: Crisis Protocol is a tabletop hobby miniatures game set in the Marvel Universe. Was expecting brotherhood to be higher toad, arguably best 2 threat; pyro, popular 3 threat; juggernaut, not many characters throwing him in timelines. New colossus is great too. I wont be surprised if sentinels do well in this format, only 1 or 2 size 5 throwers? Smash is also a great card for them, they also have access to taskmaster.

I think an important aspect of the format is that every roster of 30 needs at least one team of 10 that is good on Pay-to-Flips, thanks to the nature of splitting Secures.

Great overview! I still don't think Klaw will see much play but he will probably see more then he does in standard 😂. I think the restrictions definitely give some maligned affiliations and characters more legs so it will be interesting to see how people leverage that

There's been a lot of negativity surrounding the Timeline format, and I agree that it was an odd choice on AMG's part to make it so focused on multi-day massive events, but the core idea of a limited format is still really fun to think about and debate over. Speaking of which, I will have to go ful-on debate-lord on you over your placement of the Brotherhood team! I think that they are that they're going to do really well in this format. The loss of Rogue, Scarlet Witch, and Deception are all undeniably unfortunate, but having exclusive affiliated rights to Toad, Pyro, and Juggernaut is insane. Pyro could really shine here as it seems incinerate is going to be at a premium in this format. As far as I'm aware, the only characters that are immune to it are Captain Marvel (who will admittedly be an absolute menace in this format) and Klaw. Doc Ock gives Spider-Foes incinerate insurance, but not full immunity. Toad is a great 2-threat with lots of options (and the ability to spit out incinerate in a pinch!) Juggernaut is Juggernaut in a format severely lacking in big beefy boys. Deception-less Mystique is still a stealthy, martial artist-ing, long mover with a decent leadership. Depending on what you put in other affiliations, Colossus and Sabretooth ain't bad either. I'm not 100% sold on Shadow King, but it is worth noting that mystic attacks could be at a premium in this format since we're missing so many wizards. He might even get to actually use his heal in a format where CGR and Hulk aren't nuking him in one turn. It's also worth noting that Magneto is by far the best 6 threat in the format since the only other one is She-Hulk (unless one of the unrevealed characters ends up being high threat.) I agree with your #1 and #2 choices. Those seem are kind of no-brainers, but I had somewhat overlooked your #3 choice. I'll have to look into them more.

Awesome video! Some interesting takes. Upon reflection I think I discounted criminals too quickly just because they don't have their two best leaders. Only thing I think you're way off on is brotherhood. Has it been that long aince you've played them? They don't need their missing pieces or deception to be great. On paper they seem borderline broken in this format. I could be way off. I guess time will tell!
