it’s a shame these figures are not sized to scale to the other CP figures. i just noticed the size difference when having the spider-man next to the core pack. these proportions are closer to heroclix. dang. i liked this spider-man sculpt better but that difference bothers me

Looking at how the explosion part of Spidey and the rubble claw arm of Doc join onto their bases, could they work on a standard MCP base? I'd only buy this set for the replacement sculpts so would want them to match the rest of my collection.

They may require some light tinkering to get them to fit snug, but otherwise, you should have little issue putting them on regular bases

Did either of those characters get any changes through the FAQ? If they did, are the changes included in these cards? Would be quite sad if you needed to replace them as soon as you got the shiny version...

Neither got changed with the updated cards. It is a little dissapointing, as both cards feel like they are missing something

Are the figure bases the same size as the ones you would get for the core set figures?

Yes, the bases are the correct sizes so they can easily be used in a game

Terrain is a disappointment. Would loved to have seen a new card for each of them too. Would have been neat to see a "Superior Spider-man" card.

They did make it clear early on these would not be updates, sadly. A shame, as it would have been a great opportunity to tweak both a bit. And yeah, the terrain not having a back piece was a little dissapointing. I was hoping for something that could be used in game

If you don't glue the barrels and I beams you get a couple size one terrain pieces

Do you mean to the new layout? If so, I agree. I definitely preferred the original layouts to the new ones. But, such is life.

As the terrain seems pretty useless I'd much rather a cheaper set which just has the new models

The terrain in this one was definitely a miss, sadly. I am glad the next one is getting much more value in it
