Totally agree, Sebastian Stan is a great actor and the MCU is wasting his talent. If there is any doubt, just watch the scene from Winter Soldier again where Steve utters that iconic line, "then finish it, cause I'm with you till the end of the line." Sebastian expresses confusion, recognition and horror all in an instant. You know, just from his eyes, that Bucky is back. Yes, he was featured in Winter Soldier and Civil War, but in each film he only had a handful of lines. In Infinity War and Endgame, even less. The Russo Brothers relied on Sebastian's talent to express Bucky's emotions instead of actually giving him lines, in order to save a minute or two from the run time.

If you think about it: Bucky has had it WAYYY harder then Steve. Bucky was a soldier wanting to serve his country and was transformed into something he wasn’t. Y’all don’t get it, when Steve left he told Bucky what he was doing and probably stayed in contact with him, that’s why Bucky knew where to look for the old Steve and why he pushed falcon to talk to old Steve first, Steve and Bucky been doing this for a hundred years so obviously Steve left the shield to the falcon so not to burden Bucky with any further responsibility. @marypuppo58355 жыл бұрын
@@missylou0521 And really, even the Winter Soldier was more of an antagonist than a villain. Villains are usually defined by having an intent to do evil, that would be Hydra, the Winter Soldier or as they called him, the asset, was empty of complex intent and was in the view of Hydra, simply a tool with which to further their cause. And given that the Winter Soldier seems to be the product of trauma-induced multiple personality syndrome which can be triggered on the demand of Hydra this case is furthered. Skull Milo - Yeah what people don't know is that Hydra is MK Ultra. A Nazi Organization that captured some Allied soldiers, tortured them, broke them, and had used mind control on them. It wasn't just all about brainwashing him. They were making sure that he wouldn't have his mind free, to be in control of his own thoughts and free will. Buckey Barnes ended up becoming the biggest victim until Cap came around to help him break free from it. What happened to Tony's parents wasn't Buckey's fault. It was that evil Nazi named Zola, the head of Hydra who actually murdered Howard and Maria Stark. Buckey was only used against his will to do it. It's a pity that Tony couldn't bring himself to acknowledge that.

Because he is still known to the world as the Soviet assassin who is credited with so many killings and some very public acts of terrorism. Not everyone would know that he was brainwashed. So he's not really a great candidate for the role of Captain America. Plus, he's been through so much and he's too broken, I don't think he could uphold the Captain America ideals of hope, patriotism and pride. I don't even feel like he would want to. Overall Sam is a much better fit, and he's a great Cap in the comics. They still did Bucky dirty in Endgame though

HailG3 yeah but bucky was also cap one the comics too- first the shield was passed to him and THEN to Sam... but i get your point because just last night i was ranting to my dad and then i had a revelation that bucky probably didn’t want the shield (at that point or never, don’t know) i was like what if he would feel like he’d have to live up to Steve, to be the perfect soldier, to be another pawn for an organization in a way- i don’t know but yeah just late night thoughts but yeah i was very upset he didn’t get the shield because in comics it was him first but then i was thinking about mcu and i was like okay kinda makes sense (this was last night like almost a year later lol) but if he doesn’t get the shield at SOME point then i’ll riot lol (okay rant over)

Wonderful video - the editing, the music, all of it. I cried. I still have so many feelings about Endgame and I don't think they'll ever go away. You really captured the heart-wrenching vulnerability of Bucky here. He's been through so much and deserves so much more than he thinks he does. When he says "It always ends in a fight" and "Where's the fight?" it breaks my heart. You can really see the pain and how he can never seem to get away from the fight, even after decades upon decades of being forced into it. And when he says "I remember all of them"...ow. Sebastian plays him so perfectly. With the table scraps of screen time and dialogue Marvel gave us, he manages to convey that pain of his lost identity and being haunted by his demons in such an elegant, understated, heartbreaking way. Marvel did him (and his and Steve's friendship) so dirty. I'll never forgive them for it.

It makes me cry... It's so beautiful✨ My friends don't understand what I see on Bucky. Bucky is the best character he can be ... he has a history and a story full of emotions.

"Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone." "How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you." Something as meaningless as that can bring any Marvel fa to tears...

*WARNING, SPOILERS* I dont think people realize just how underrated and underused the character Bucky Barnes is when he is played by Sebastian Stan in the movies. He gets captured, is expirimented on, gets saved by his best friend Steve, only to go back to fighting. He falls off a train and loses his arm only to be taken and expirimented on more! He is brainwashed for 70+ years, and is frozen to keep his young body! Once he gains control over his life and starts figuring his head out, he is once again thrown into being hunted down in a fight in Civil War. At that point he is taken to wakanda to finally release him of the trigger words in his head and when he gets back to being his old self there, another war comes along with Thanos! *YOU CANNOT TELL ME ALL THIS, FOLLOWING BUCKY, WOULD NOT MAKE A GREAT MOVIE! WE WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE HOW HE GETS HIS MEMOROES BACK AND THE STUFF THAT HAPPENS IN THAT MASSIVE TIME GAP!!*

Bucky’s story is the saddest one in marvel, in my opinion. He had been through so much. He used to be such a happy go getting person. But because of what happened, he seems sad. And feels alone And when he said “I remember all of them” he sound so hopeless

This is beautifully done. Bucky is one of my favorite characters, I like him better than Falcon. Those scenes in Winter Soldier where he is treated like a machine to be beaten and tortured without any regard for the human being, broke my heart.

Bucky deserved better. The world tortured him for 70 years, but he stood up and fight till the end of the line...
