For those curious it was an arc within the Moon Girl. Moon Girl set out to prove herself the smartest person on the planet and challenged Reed for the title. I think she won it. or he bequeathed it, I don't know. Either way it was a whole arc within Moon Girl's own comic which was a couple years ago so hopefully that provides some context for any confused.

I totally agree with him about Moon Girl. She hasn't even discovered/experienced a third of what Reed has! Nothing wrong with the Moon Girl character but marvel needs to stop creating "new" characters and out of nowhere say "They are the BEST..." Listen I can respect the MoonGirl opinion being offered here. I get it. It's a fair criticism. But I am sorry. It does feel like arbitrary gatekeeping too. The only reason Mr. Fantastic or Doom is the smartest person in the Marvel universe is also because some executive decided they were back in the 1960s. And there is ALWAYS a failure to comment on, by comic fans, the rampant discrimination that blocked women and people of color out of the industry during that period.
