I play mostly 2 player, and most of these would probably be the same. The one that stands out as being crazy different is actually Xavier (even more than Macho Gomez). Xavier was a MM I was very excited to play with, but he's kind of a chump in multiplayer sadly. Anyway, loved the video! Would be cool to see an updated list at some point, maybe post Annihilation & Messiah complex.

I love this video thanks! I would love to see you fight Xavier master of crime. To my knowledge I dont think you've broadcasted an episode of him yet.

Hm that's a good list, my suggestion would be the supreme intelligence of the kree (saying it because I'm pretty sure the supreme intelligence is a thing), from the Guardians of the Galaxy expansion. It probably isn't nearly as hard as Dark Phoenix or Thanos, but it gains a shard every time a master strike is drawn, making it stronger. Plus, it always leads Kree Starforce, which gives it more shards, and it also makes you discard your good stuff if you let shards pile up on it, because you have to discard ALL your cards with cost equal to and one higher than it's total amount of shards. Finally, its tactics give it EVEN MORE SHARDS, increasing its attack and the power of its master strikes. And if you defeat the supreme intelligence? Congratulations, you get to keep ONE of its shards that there are many many piles of, and the rest get thrown away. P.S. I have never tried solo mode, I'm just a teen who plays this with family, so I have no idea how difficult intelligence is in solo.

I think the adv. solo rules are a little outdated, because you have a built-in horror card as part of the rule (the one which tells you to play another card after a master strike, and I'm pretty sure there's an horror card that does the same). Since I'm not keeping scores or anything, I don't use that rule when playing solo, and if you don't use the adv. solo rules, the game is too easy.

I've found an OP combo that DESTROYS Galactus, which is how I beat him in advanced solo really easily. Winter Soldier and Forge!

Depending on the scheme and villains that are in play supreme intelligence of the kree can be extremely hard too

I'm genuinely curious as to what scheme/villain setup you're using that makes supreme intelligence hard? I've found them to be very low on the MM difficulty totem pole.

I hate Maria Hill and King Hyperion solo. Any scheme that you lose from escaped villains makes them almost impossible to beat.

When playing solo, the rules say to ignore the masterminds “always leads” rule. However does that mean you don’t add that number of cards to the villain deck at all, or do you still add a henchman group but it doesn’t have to be the stated group on the mastermind card?

It just doesn't have to be the stated group. Otherwise you'd never have any variety when playing. For example, you can use any henchman group with Dr Doom.

@@KingKoopa015 just noticed page 20 of the rulebook says "villain deck : use these cards: 1 villain group, 3 henchman cards..." So then it's only one villain group, not 2 groups, and it doesn't have to be the one stated on the mastermind. Correct?
