Yeah, to me it made total sense to get this villain in the set. But I miss The Freelancers as a Villain group. It was the obvious choice. I suppose they didn't have a powerful Mastermind behind, but, then again, Wrecking Crew, as much as they appear in #1, are not led by Pagliacci to my knowing.

While I am psyched for Fin Fang Foom, I'm not sure how I feel about most of these characters having cards before She-Hulk, Wasp, Ant Man and War Machine

Maybe they’re saving Time Travelling Cyclops for a small box expansion with young ice man and others since they have/had their own comic series if I’m correct?

This set is awful for Solo play, but it has some fun concepts. Some of the schemes make Fing Fang Foom nearly impossible with this base set.

I play solo most of the time.Why do you think this set is awful for solo play?

Michael Denman the scenarios and cards can wreck you. Especially in a two player game if you dont get the right answers right awsy to villains and schemes.

Dang I was hoping that they wouldn't just make Gwenpool into a female deadpool but it seems they did. That's sad, she deserved better than that. Nonetheless, great review as always!

I was thinking i was good on legendary, my box is pretty full with 3 small expansions and i don't need to get a ton of expansions... Now Gwenpool is in the game. Im going to have to re-assess my legendary collection. It may be easier to pick up a big box expansion. >.> They could have done a lot more with her though.

If you get a big-box expansion, I recommend X-Men or Dark City. Also, this will provide a new box for you to store way more cards. I have four big-box expansions and four small-box expansions housed in the base box and one large expansion box.

How can we get more villians to play with. I wanna use apocalypse, doom, onslaught, red skull. My friends and I always compete and 9 times out of 10 I use the villian cards to play with. We need a complete set of just villians and some more hero bosses to play against. Like level 16 cable, level 20 fury and the shield armata, level 24 cpt America and the avengers.
