Highly articulated wings on figures has been one of my favorite developments over the last 5ish years and glad theyre not doing build-a-wings. I really look forward to whenever they do an arch angle. Hopefully with a switch out fully retracted wings.

These wings! I like the red version here as it gives me versatility. I think Champions when I see this. Blue makes me think X-Men. Blue also makes me think Archangel. But these wings! I actually find them pretty light for their size. The middle portion is all the difference between the DCUC figures Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Yeah I have those too. I don’t have him but NECA and the Voltar crazy bird Viking guy. How did they do collapsed and extended wings? This figure is very sweet! I’ve been zooming him around and playing with the wing poses. So many cool shapes he can throw! Great buy for $35!

Oooh, snazzy edit with the figure details. The face being so freckled is weird to me, never really saw Warren like that. The white on the red is kind off-putting too, it's just always gonna be hard to get white paint to match white plastic. All that said, the wings look amazing! I love my DCUC Hawkman but the way the wings look when extended throws me a bit. This Angel has them looking perfect folded or expanded. But I'm with you, Robo... Archangel colours please. Metallic feathered wings would look so good!

Those freckles or pixels on the face aren't really noticeable in person, just when I do super zoom on the camera. I usually get into edits and go "Well damn, I didn't even notice that." But then I am getting older and blinder, which works into me being happier with things in general haha!

That Archangel head at 8:37, this figure would've been as close to perfection as possible if it had included an alternate Archangel head with the same yellow paint for the blonde hair. If they come up with equivalent Archangel wings later that you can pop into those back slots paired with an alternate blue-skinned head, THAT would be 99.9% perfection for this figure.

No need to decide which head to use, put the Defenders head on the red costume and when the blue costume comes out, that one goes with the X-Men. Then wait for the First Class, Champions, X--Factor, AoA, and hopefully updated Archangel costumes.

Archangel has been on my X-Shelf for a while, center back, up on a flight stand filling out the shelf. Once I get this guy... Archangel gets to rest. Just personal preference, but I much prefer the feather wings.

He's beautiful...I prefer the blue costume instead, to me he's ALWAYS looked better in blue. That alternate smiling head, though? It's a bit "creepy mannequin/children of the corn/plastered smile"... I prefer the neutral face.

the gloves and boots wouldn't be so bad if not for the different gloss on one of the parts. Damn, that's enough looking up position for me. Most Joes can't get that far, and the snipers laying down need to be able to.

Robo, got my Angel from Amazon on 4/1/2024, the left wing's connector hinge would not move or bend. I tried to heat it up, but it looks like the paint and plastic was already fused together in that section when I got it. Ordered a replacement from Amazon. Just sharing to fellow collectors to beware about this defect.

I could be wrong but I don't remember angel having a halo in his red & white costume with the white gloves but I do remember the one with the yellow gloves having it. I do remember it being on the blue & white costume though. It may have happened in Champions more than uncanny & maybe that's why I don't remember it because I didn't read the Champions &_just skimmed through it.

Bat wings for MLF Dragoness and X-2099 Bloodhawk. NO ONE has had decent bat wings, even during Hallowe’en, for YEARS. I’ve gone thru at least three iterations of Bloodhawk and not a single one has BAT WINGS. 🤦‍♂️😢 Oh, and Uncle Bob went by Fr. Roland after joining the seminary. He and his “best friend” Robert “traded names” when they took their vows. 😉

Does wings that they gave this arc? Angel figure Mecca should have given news Wings to the gargoyles instead of giving us Wings where you had to put on extra wings, I like the Wings that decide to stretch out like a you know that part that goes on an American dictionary that has that wrinkle either goes in or out. I like that but they did what these wings is freaking awesome. I don't know if they're ever gonna release the arc. Angel with the meadows I'm hoping for that. But this is pretty tight. I like that.

I'm not going to be combative about this but I do want to say I highly doubt the wings are what they mean by lack of innovation. Much as I like some marvel legends molds the articulation compared to more expensive import figures is lacking, and their insistence on mold reuse/retooling in this line makes a lot of the articulation issues stagnate over time and become more obvious. Frankly I've seen transformers figures on the regular with better articulation than some of these figures and I find that both impressive and unfortunate. The transformers mainline is where that innovation is going, and Hasbro just isn't really applying it to the marvel legends line as much as many would like.

Having butterfly joints and wings IS possible, I did it with my custom. But I think hasbro only did it so they won't have too many articulation with 1 figure, because the wings include several articulation, is this pitiful of hasbro to not have more articulation? Yes, do they care? No. Still a good figure though 👍
