Hasbro is so close to getting the perfect legends Cap, they just need to throw an upper torso swivel, his costume is literally designed perfectly for it.

They also need to incorporate butterfly joints and make a definitive/intact shield that has good proportions. All the ML shields so far being too small/large/thick/scene specific while Mafex and Marvel Select have made great shields for their Caps is just getting annoying at this point.

Yeah to this day I regret passing up that 20th in the store when I saw it. I thought it looked cool but I only collected dc at the time but now I want it but it’s too expensive so I’ll get this one.

These secret war shields can be useful. If your clip haandle broke on an older cap shield, you can snap out the clip and swap them.

I wish they would have made the classic comic Falcon with Redwing so it will go well with this Captain America. Even though he was not in the secret wars, but they still made his figure back in the days.

I think the lower shoulder placement is to avoid chewing up the top of the arms when moving that joint upwards.

If i get them, i’ll have a hard time removing them from the card. They look so good in packaging because it recreates the 80s packaging so well.

If this Cap had the neutral head & an actual shield (not the broken one, not the one with holes for effect parts) it would have been an instant buy. As is, it feels incomplete which is sad because it could have been the definitive ML Cap. I like the pin-less joints & improved articulation, but I’ll stick with my 20th Anniversary Cap.

I got the navy-blue 80th Anniversary Cap, served me well thus far.

The hips and backside with the fabric wrinkles were used on the dark blue Captain America. The 20th Anniversary Cap has the crappy Grim Reaper ones. I don't mind the lighter blue, but the red really does look cheap. I wish they'd take a look at Jada's Street Fighter figs. They pose way better and are mostly better value.

I wish the comic Cap shields start to have those straps aside from the peg-clip. Toybiz used to have those with Captain America ML.

I don’t understand why they made the abdomen on the black suit Spider-Man so short compared to the animated series one because when you look back at the secret wars comic the animated series version abdomen is the correct one. That’s the main reason why I couldn’t pick it up. I wanted to upgrade, but I can’t just like with the new punisher Two pack the punishers skull on his chest look like it was tired and sleepy. I can’t un see it. Great vid

I love that they used the upper legs and hips from the 80th Cap and not the 20th Cap on this figure. This has far more range by far.

My Marvel Legends Secret Wars Cap has an ab crunch that doesn’t work at all. Every time I try to bend it, it snaps back to its original position like a spring. It’s so disappointing. saaaaaaaaaaaaad :(((

7:28 Pretend he's wearing his short shorts. Good to see that the final product has the upper boots correctly assembled; they're on the wrong legs in the promo images. 15:01 Different stripe pattern though. It's usually a red center stripe and it was that way in the Secret Wars comic.

You almost have to get it for the shield alone, they might repackage it sometime with the MCU Captain America, but that is probably the only other time this shield will be released. (assuming you are A Cap fan that is)

Hascrap's special ' sausage finger' division should have taken the chance to do a new body to be used under the soft rubber overlay used for the torso. And done a new torso with butterfly hinged shoulders.😂❤
