I also like the brown leather parts and the big golden cape pieces. The colors have a nice compromise between the brighter colors and the darker colors. This is my favorite so far, especially with the Doom Bot head. Now I'll try to get an unmasked head.

The Cape is removable you pop the two rings on his chest out to remove the cape. And the Norman Osborne head is not new. It is from the first retro carded green goblin.

I got Danny Ketch Ghost Rider... Luke Cage Iron Fist 2 Pack.. The Cabal 3 Pack..& Astonishing Wolverine..all from my Amazon preorders last week....as well as Warbird that I ordered from the Target website on the July 21st release date & got last Tuesday. As far as The Cabal 3 Pack..I'm VERY happy with it... even tho I already had the Super Skrull wave Dr Doom...I'm happy with the update..& i can now use 1 Doom in me Fantastic Four display & on in a Villains display.. i didn't have that previous Taskmaster or Iron Patriot..so I was happy to get them👑

You can actually take the cape off pretty easily, you just have to unplug the gold clasps. It’s meant to come off so you can have the proper doom bot look

Doom with cloth cape is good, but should have been wired. The paint on the strings is good, but should have had paint on armor straps. Shorter skirt armor is good, but should be a soft pliable material to not impede articulation. Taskmaster looks great but its cape should have been wired cloth. Iron Patriot looks good but the red should be deeper, the blue lighter, and the white should be silver. Expect all three to be re-released as single figures with some improvements in a year or two.

Honesty the iron patriot looks so much better with the white instead of the silver from the early version. Also for the shield when it’s possible instead of using the c clip itself I but the peg part in a grip hand and then just rotate the hand so the shield faces out properly to avoid any breaks. Never had an issue with one breaking on my but better to be safe than sorry

It was the Iron Monger wave that had a mix of MCU and comic books figures. If I recall correctly, there were two Iron Patriot variants, one movie and one comic. The comic version came with the Iron Monger torso piece. I have the comic version on card somewhere.

I just bought this the other day and I’m so hyped to have Doctor Doom in my collection. He’s a figure I’ve wanted to get for a long time. Missed out on the Fantastic Four Super Skrull BAF Doctor Doom which is super expensive now.

I'm liking it also. I have the figures with me here and the sharp white is eye catching, the silver might have dulled it more in some ways, thia looks like it is glowing by contrasting so much from the dark blue.

The tassels are not glued down on the new doom, they can be removed they’re just plugged in. The cape is meant to be removed for the doombot mode.

I like the Iron Patriot in the white over that swirly white plastic. I'm looking forward to the new Taskmaster. The head sculpt is great. Nothing will beat the Toybiz Taskmaster shield. That was epic. Fully painted and sculpted. I'm happy with my Super Skrull Doctor Doom, but the addition of the Doombot head and cape make this more appealing.

I don’t buy Dwight’s excuse for the iron patriot color change. They would have told Robo to say something before he reviewed it, or at least made some kind of statement. It’s too big of a change to just ignore and say “oh well we meant to make it white originally.” I think there was some other reason that he couldn’t disclose. Probably cutting down on costs.

2:22 Your wish came true, kinda. Only larger packaging gets a bio. 4:52 Pistol looks so puny in his hand. Should've had the newest mold of this gun with the port for a blast effect. Even the first mold that came with Madame Hydra/Masque looks better and is bigger than this one. 6:03 Quiver position is comic accurate, but it's not very practical for a right handed caster. 6:28 Looks like you lost a hand because there were two fists in the box. Old Tasky came in an Infinity War Thanos BAF wave. 10:25 They need to do a better job at positioning the faceplate. 15:09 The silver on the old figure looks good. I think it looks better than the silver that was on the 85th IP prototype.

It's a great set, I feel if hasbro could give doom a cloth cape, then shouldn't his lower skirt also be cloth? So he can sit properly on his throne. Taskmaster is dope. Overall 85th anniversary is knocking it out of the park

Iron patriot will get rereleased with proper colors with no norman head. Taskmaster arrows being glues to the cape was dumb decision on hasbro. Doctor door right leg higher than his left leg these should of been single releases so people could of just got taskmaster

All I see here is Doom, I am really dissapointed in the Task Master Cape, wish it was not plastic, HASBRO is soo BACKWARDS. Not the biggest fan of the color on Iron patriot, would have loved a darker red instead of a red that looks like a kid PLASTERED Crayola over it. Already know review gonna be a banger just thought i'd comment as I am currently watching

@@owene2530 The soft good quality isnt killing their budget at all. It's the refusal to not add them into many models that's the biggest issue. Especially when they produce figures of characters we hardly ever get. You basically left with having to spend extra money and hoping you don't break your figure when adding softgoods or any other modifications Hasbro refuses to do. Great example of this is toe articulation. Sh figuarts(when they made 20-40 dollar figures)even wayy back in 2007 or so had toe articulation in almost if not every single figure they make. Not sure why Habsro acts like it's their idea when they add it on spiderman. Either way, I enjoy Habsro flair of giving us characters that are not popular in main stream but the constant cutting corners and expecting consumers to pay more if not double the price is ludacris.

It's a business scheme.. They could give Taskmaster a cloths cape but they won't not yet. They want to buy this and then later down the road, they will release one with cloth cape. It's all profit tactics
