ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Feet have a silhouette where the peak is on the inside of the foot, then they slope more towards the outside. They were correct before as how the peak is near the outside and they slope towards the inside. I hope this helps.

I found this fig at my local video game store for $90 AU, immediately bought it and oh man the geek spot hit so hard with this fig as I wanted this guy for 2 and a half frickin years! This guy is so good that he’s still on my computer desk alongside with my Hardy Venom and NWH Andrew figs. My SUD rating for this guy is definitely “AAAAAAHHHH ITS SO AWESOME!”

Carnage looks burnt. I like the way Hot Toys did it, where the black was added to the crevices. Hasbro could've done something similar, like how they sculpted and painted the cracks on Walgreens Thing.

The shf is obviously the better of the two (as it should be for the price ) but its a lot closer than i thought it would be. For collectors on a budget, the legends is a good option.

I love this figure. There’s not been a ton of great mcu figures release this year so far, but this is my favorite at this point. It is so massive. I wish we could get a larger venom to properly scale with it, because the one we have is smaller than he appears in the movies

I don’t understand how this happens every time. I used the alternate movie venom head and put it on the eternals kro body. Painted and what not. Made my own carnage. Was really happy. Figured they’d never make this cuz it’s been sooo long. Seems like every time I make my own they release the real thing haha

A nice black wash and this would be exceptional but I agree with your criticism regarding the paint, otherwise...I think you underscored the figure. I think overall it's really nice and functions pretty great. Lots of accessories, big figure for an affordable price and pretty decent articulation. 8.5 or a 9 👍🏼

This figure made me completely do a 180 on this design. He was too tall, too dark a red and long tongue bothered me. But this figure has so much love and accuracy put into it that i instantly pre ordered. Im also glad hes a brighter red than in the actual movie. And the amount of stuff you get with him is almost overwhelming. Contender for ML figure of the year

So so excited for mine. But movie wasnt the best but i absolutely loved carnages design. Yea he could have been smaller but screw it. It’ll still be a badass and fun figure. Proportions and headsculps are more accurate on the marvel legends. Paint apps and articulation obviously go to the figuarts tho

For Venom, the Legends and SHF are equally matched - in most respects, the Legends is better/more accurate. But for Carnage, definitely think the SHF wins. The chest is more proportioned and the details are sharper. The Legends looks very cheap
