I just found nearly the whole Dr. Strange wave at my Walmart and was so excited to pick this one up! Even though his base body is very plain, I'm happy with him. I know the cape traffic cones him a lot but with the butterfly shoulders do allow more movement than you show. My only gripe is his mouth sculpt seems more sad than evil. Still an amazing rare villain to add to anyone's comic likeness collection

Also I think his legs could have used some smokey white or silverish shading from the feet up. If you have an extra Mysterio, I would throw them over his feet

I love that they made this character. I ran across a comic with him in when I was a kid. Cyclops was on his own in the swamps of the deep South. D'Spayre made him doubt his entire life, cast illusions to mess with him and make him give up. I think Man Thing was in it too. When I saw the initial reveal of this fig I thought it was on the Grim Reaper body. This is a better choice. Shame they didn't use the new Retro Spidey buck. More demons please. Nightmare (could use Mysterio bod), Mephisto, Blackheart and any others.🙂😈🙂😈

D'spayre looks like marvel spawn I hope they treat him well in movie I hate that marvel use him in cloak and dagger show he has so much potential to fight supernatural heroes like doctor strange,scarlet witch,ghost rider,blade and moon knight not against lower heroes like cloak and dagger.

Probably only figure I'll pick up from this wave ( he just looks so badass) the new doctor strange is tempting as well but I'd like to get that target exclusive one and not the biggest fan of having multiple of 1 character unless multiverse related so we'll see

I've only read one comic with d'spair in xmen with cyclops and man thing. He always stuck in my mind and loved him. I'm surprised and excited that they made such a rare figure. I can't wait to own him

It's the Sunfire body mould. They also used it as a base for the Classic Moon Knight, Age of Apocalypse Sunfire, Johnny Storm Living Laser various Deadpools etc.

Does the black match the Symbiote Spidey figures? This could be a good custom body for those who wanted black suit Spider-Man on this buck with this style of torso articulation. And could you do a comparison with Sleepwalker and Retro White Vision? They're both on Bucky-Cap and I'm pretty sure Sleepwalker was designed with backward shoulders.

Somewhat irrelevant, but I really wish they’d made the new white Vision with a cape kinda like this that goes around his neck and comes down on his chest. It would look a lot more like the source material and a lot better than the stupid peg cape.
