I highly recommend submitting a ticket for the eyes. Yours are better than most, but with the size of the issue, just get on that train and get a pair of good ones. Dwight mentioned they were working on it in the Dan Who interview.

I got mine in earlier this week, my eye situation was the same as yours, the "straight-on" eyes are mostly alright, but the right eye is looking a little off to the left, ol' Lazy Eye Hank. Also, now all I need is that Wasp, I wasn't able to get that set. I really hope Hasbro does a reissue on it, or puts out another Wasp in a different costume in the near future

Excellent review. You really did a good job capturing the fun of this figure. I'm thrilled with mine. I had the same feeling about the "extra side eyes" issue: Are people just calling them side because of that one being slightly askew? I had a hard time being able to tell with Dan Who's review. I sure do wish we got the Skrull head though..... AND I'll say it here too, someone needs to make an all white, Kirkman Marvel Zombies-style eye plate for him. I expect someone will do it at some point, and I'll definitely buy it.

Those eyes are pretty straight, however if you look at it from certain angles they do look like they're looking to the left and that's just a result of the design used, I wish they just used articulated eyes instead because doing that could have avoided this whole issue. Still Giant Man is dope and good on Hasbro for announcing replacement parts.

I can see the benefits of moving eyes but I just don't like them in general. You're usually fighting them to match up, they can loosen up, I'm never happy with the positioning. I mean yeah, this isn't perfect and I'm hoping for a replacement but I'll take this lens system any day of the week.

As far as Galactus goes i found the little toddler plastic chairs are the perfect size for him if you want him sitting down (as big as he is i didnt want to risk him falling off the shelf one day), one of these days ill get some cardboard and putty and turn it into a more suitable chair

Giant Man! My extra “straight on eyes drifted more up and to the right. Nevertheless they look pretty kick ass in the snarling face. I did reach out to Hasbro so whatever comes is gravy to me. Those fingers are workout for sure. I was careful and worked on keeping peg straight then manipulated them without heat. I’m in TX so it’s generally hot here. I love this thing! I’m debating changing the Toybiz Giant Man to get the in between look for Hank growing. It’s still so dang cool.

Great figure....I just wished for at least Haslabs they should redesign those knees and elbows to a new style so they are better looking like how SHF or Mafex does it. Rest is fantastic! Ratcheted joints is top choice. I agree those are eyes are fantastic! Also they should have decided to give the Skrull head just as a good gesture. 🤗

This guys looks cool, but I'm holding out hope for a smaller one. I just have no room for big figures anymore, unless I _really_ want them. I need a company to make a decently articulated 12-inch Giant-Man! The eye problem sucks, especially since it could've been avoided by just doing poseable eyes. For a figure this large, it shouldn't have been hard. Probably wouldn't even need a tool to move them like Revoltech uses.

I got mine yesterday, first thing, I was somewhat disappointed by the size of the box, compared to the Galactus box (which to be fair, contains 3 other figures) it's not even half the size, putting them next to each other makes you worry about how big the figure is going to be. Second thing I did was look at the eyes... and unfortunately got two side eyes one straight, although after this review, I need to look again and verify. Outside of that, there was never a part of me that for a second thought I was going to be disappointed, and that is exactly the truth, it's fully worth the $200 and if they come out with other characters I want at this height and this well done, they will easily get my next $200. (I would love a Terminus figure, but I know that isn't going to happen---others are pushing for a Uatu, which I can see happening although I think he would fit better as an 18" or so---and of course any Celestials would be nice, Goliath and Atlas would also be nice, but never going to happen---and the always wanted Fin Fang Foom has a chance, while Shuma Gorath (sp) doesn't. )

Way back when I tried to find the Toy Biz marvel legends figures for the Giant Man wave at Walmart but I wasn’t able to find them because the closest Walmart available near my home is at Green Acres Mall in Nassau County. They didn’t sold the individual figures required and I was very disappointed. I backed up the Haslab version of him and I finally picked him up two days later. He’s great and it makes up for the loss of the Walmart Toy Biz Giant Man because of stupid management from years back

I’m curious why they didn’t go with Hot Toys/Import style movable eyes. Surely it would have been cheaper to make one set versus 3 sets that a machine has to precisely fabricate.

Because 1) That would be way more engineering and production than doing tampos/inkjet on the back of clear plastic lenses and 2) I hate moving eyeballs, haha.

@@RoboDontKnowI think the tampos are sandwiched between two layers of clear plastic. I think that’s why people, myself included, are getting crooked straight eyes. The sandwiching process must be shifting the decals. Each pair has a different tab on them. I got one up and left set, and my downward set, one eye is slightly inward like your straight eyes.
