Tom Holland has basically become Sony’s RDJ. Which is why RDJ approached Tom to give him advice on how to negotiate/renew his contract with Sony. RDJ said something along the lines of “Sony needs you(Tom) more than he needs them.” It felt like Tom hadn’t necessarily been 100% sure he wanted to be back at first . That’s when Kevin and RDJ told him about RDJ Doom and why they needed him back. Talking about the bigger picture. Which is why he and Zendaya got the scripts.

I think they need a break apart the story a little bit. Instead of everything revolving around this Multiverse BS they should have three stories going simultaneously that overlap once in a while with an avengers crossover. Sticking with a street level story, a worldwide story, and a cosmic story. Put which heroes match with which story and just tell those with them overlapping once in a while for an avengers crossover that is too big for any one team to handle. Let people pick which story they follow and we can all just enjoy avengers movies that way from whichever team we’ve chose to follow’s point of view.

No, not really. No Way Home took place near the end of 2024 (like it's literally around December), and the MCU is currently in 2026 (going by In-Universe time, not real world time like you are), so Peter would really only be around the start of his Sophomore year (year 2) for college, which is a nice parallel since Homecoming was during his Sophomore Year of High School.

Infinity War is in 2018, then Endgame takes place 5 years later in 2023, Wandavision states it's been about a few weeks after Endgame, and Agatha All Along says it's been 3 years since Wandavision, so 2026. There are other ways to figure it out from the shows and movies too, that's just the easiest way to figure it out.

I think you're right about Holland and RDJ facing off in Spiderman 4. Spiderman 3 left off with him knowing that no one will remember him and I think a key part of Spiderman 4s story will be that Peter simply thinks "Mr. Stark" just doesn't remember him vs (Doom) not knowing him. I bet that picture of him and Tony from Endgame will be a plot device.

This pitch makes sense except for one thing, Doom would not be trying to destroy the multiverse. I don’t know why everyone pitches that. He would be working to save it from someone else, someone like Kang’s variants ORRRR Knull. Think of this. In Fantastic Four: First Steps, Reed asks for Doom’s help against Galactus, and Doom says that while Reed tries to save their world Doom is busy trying to save ALL worlds. In Doomsday (this could also be the plot of Doctor Strange 3 instead of Strange facing Dormammu) we see him working with 616 Strange and maybe Clea to stop the universes from being destroyed. Maybe Knull also wiped out all the Kangs, but the Kangs could also be this bigger villain. Maybe Knull goes from universe to universe destroying all of it. Doom Strange and Clea go from place to place trying to save the heroes they can including Tobey and Andrew, Ghost Rider, and Deadpool and Wolverine before their universes face annihilation. That should be the case. I would say there is that bit of symbiote in the 616 reality, but Venom 3 retconned that.

F4 sets up Von Doom as a Character who wants to be strongest being in the multiverse ,Doomsday sets up Doom as a Villain who becomes the strongest, Spiderman 4 fights a being from another universe who tries to do everything so Dr.Doom doesn't find this one but goes wrong. last act Dr.Doom enters. Doom sets up the Battleworld in the first Part of Secret wars and Spiderman ends everything with 2nd part of Secret wars .

Doomsday needs to focus on building Doom’s plan and background. Very much like Thanos. However, the creation of Battleworld (which would be the equivalent of the Snap) needs to be saved for the end of Secret Wars. Having Doom introduced and defeated in the same phase would a disservice to the character along with the actor himself. Therefore, phase 6 needs an extension or they move to a phase 7 to close out the saga. This would give us time to have a whole phase potentially set up on Battleworld - that way they get to tell the stories that they need to tell. They just don’t truly need to rush the ending. RDJ Doom needs to be defeated in a later set of Avengers films after the many characters have traveled thru Battleworld and made their way to Doom in God Emperor form.

Very happy the two writers are coming back and hopefully they mix just as well with Destin Daniel Cretton as they did with Jon Watts. And from what Tom is saying that's looking very likely, also super happy Zendaya is confirmed for the movie too. I know Peter has multiple girlfriends in the comics are whatever but Tom and Zendaya just have too good of a chemistry together to not keep that going. Plus while I was fine with No Way Home's tragic ending, it does leave things in too sad a place for Peter and I want to see him get some stuff back to balance it out.
