I was looking forward to getting Puny Banner. Just not in those colors. A cool addition would have been a hulking out Bruce Banner head. Half of his face could have been transitioning to gray, and gritting his teeth.

I would totally buy a Banner because he's still an important character outside of being Hulk. I do wish he had an angry transforming face, possibly with the yellow eyes

They have all those Avenger anniversary figures at a few of my local Targets. They have them in numbers such that I dont expect them to move, so Im just checking daily and scanning them to see when they go on clearance prices. Will get em then.

My favorite Hukk figure is still 20th anniversary Hulk. It's an almost perfect Hulk in my opinion. The accessories are great. I personally love the head sculpts. This guy is good but I don't want a regular Grey Hulk. If I want a regular Grey Hulk I'll get a Joe Fixit. That way I don't have 2 different color Bruce Banner Hulks, and I have a villain for Green Hulk to fight.

I'd love to get a green Hulk with these head sculpts. Paul Harding, the sculptor, also designed the heads for the previous "Anniversary" release of the character, those great Classic Wolverine unmasked heads, and more. He's one of the best working with Hasbro at the moment, in my opinion. Thanks for the review!

Hasbro is going to re-release this as a green Hulk and Banner with purple pants. Count on it. Basically paying $60 bucks for head sculpts at this point.

The upper torso is actually different from the previous Hulks, it's way smoother and less detailed. Not sure why Hasbro did that, maybe to be able to reuse it with more characters?

Probably will reuse it, but I think it's to look slightly closer to early hulk, who was a bit softer looking

Thanks for the review Anthony. My favorite is the green/purple variant of the Hulk. Isn't it about time Hasbro ML produce a "human-form" box set of characters like Banner, Donald Blake, Eddie Brock, Ben Grimm, and General Ross? It's only been 20 years right?

I am a Hulk fanatic, one of my favorite sections of my room is my Hulk section. Adding to it makes me happy, this was a must buy until I saw it. Good lord what a disappointment, they retooled the chest softer but now it doesn't match the details in the arms or legs. Banner looks terrible, that weird sculpted jacket with the asymmetrical opening, Banner needed round glasses, like they fucked up Peter Parker on the retro card but thats the look we needed here for Banner. This needed some fricken lab accessories too. So sad to not want this but thats what it is

If you look at the early figures using the suit body mold, like Coulson or Chameleon, you'll find that they put Banner's shoulder parts on the wrong sides. 3:18 You can see the shoulders are backward because the sleeve seams, the line down the middle, are now on the front.

Kind of weird that most Hasbro figures have good back articulation but poor abdominal crunch. Normally, the forward abdominal bend should be prioritized since normal movement of people in the abdomen let's us bend forward more than bend backwards. Especially weird for Hulk since he needs to bend forward more since he is larger than most average size characters.

It’s worst with McFarlane. They can arch waaaay back, but can’t crunch forward at all.

I think the Hulk is a belter. Looks far better than the first Grey Hilk with rhe pin head. It's a tad innacurate in that he wasn't as huge when he first became the Hulk, but the heads look great. A bit odd with the less veiny chest but the rest is all the same. The Banner fig's face doesn't really look like how I remember him from the comics. The glasses look terrible. Like something from a Christmas cracker. As for accessories, the could've come with the broken pavement piece that came with the last dark green Hulk. Extra hands for Banner maye be fists and chemical flasks perhaps. My favourite Hulk would be the Dale Keown Smart Hulk. Bunny slippers and a big gun.

I've been waiting for a Bruce Banner figure for ages, they churn alot of obscure & crappy MCU figure but not a frickin COMIC Bruce Banner, I was at a boiling point lol. But yeah, I hope they release a purple jeans Banner at some point, to match either 80th or 20th Hulk. And a proper Comic Abomination. Rainbow of Hulks, but still not a single proper Abomination to match.

Immortal Hulk is my favourite Hulk. If we ever got a proper figure for him, I’d want some parts that show him regenerating in gross ways. I’d get this set more for Banner than Hulk. I just don’t really need a grey Hulk in any of my displays. Banner isn’t high on my list either, but he’s at least somewhere on there, like in a display with Tony and Reed.

Joe Fixit Hulk running things in Vegas. That being said, the only reason I passed on this set was that I really don’t want to have to buy a Bruce Banner figure that I don’t want, that would end up as either fodder or stuck in the box.

This 2 pack should have been a slam dunk because I love Hulk and I absolutely would want a Banner. It's just a failure because they tried to do as many things in one pack all at once but did none of them well. This is 1st appearance Hulk colors, with Todd Mcfarlane style heads, and a Bruce Banner that never wears this color outfit and doesn't match first issue art. This is not what first appearance Hulk looks like. They did this only so they could reuse the Hulk mold, but it doesn't suit the look they're going for. They put in 5% effort by making a new torso that is "doughy" (Dwight's words) but it doesn't match and just ends up sticking out like a sore thumb. Also I really don't like Paul Harding's head sculpts. And then Banner, it's cool that they matched his color to the Hulk, but this is not at all the look for Banner that I think of. This Banner will only makes sense when paired up with this terrible Hulk, which I have 0 interest in. Thankfully, I have the Select and I'm more than happy with that but I really wish they made Banner in those classic white and purple colors that he's always depicted in. Even though this set goes for $30, I still can't do it.

I found this 2 pack at my local gamestop 2 days ago, but i didn't have enough money to get it. I'm gonna see if somebody i know can get it for me. I've been tracking this 2 pack since they announced on their hasbro famstream in march. I mostly want this 2 pack only for the grey hulk figure. I think this grey hulk would be perfect to be my first one in my Hulk collection because of it being really good imo. Edit: i forgot gamestop has a buy 2 get 1 free deal for action figures so the next time i go there im gonna see about getting two mcfarlane superpowers figures to buy so that maybe i can get the 2 pack for free.

For me personally i always preffered my figure in a battle/action mode. If only hasbro would not cheap out atleast give an alt head so there's a flexibility on posing action figs..
