Hands down the absolute best interview I’ve seen in all my years as a legends fan. There was no unnecessary pressure or dominance trying to be asserted, no awkward tension or questionable reactions for views. Loved this very much Dan I hope moving forward you’re able to keep this going because it was more than refreshing seeing a genuinely cool and exciting interview with one of the legends guys.

Great interview! So glad you don't shy away from asking difficult questions. Dwight is, as usual, charming, funny, clever and everyone's dad. The only thing this interview was missing was mentioning a Swordsman & Mantis 2-pack and missing villains Skurge, Attuma, Deathbird, M'Baku and Swarm. 😄

Really good interview, Dan. Great job! Hmm! Not A tier but not Q tier. BAF. Dwight's favorite to work on in years. I'm trying to think who could possibly fit into that that we also still need. Executioner? I'd say Stegron...but he is kind of Q tier. New Annihilus? Classic Titanium Man? I could see Zzzax being REALLY fun to make.

THIS! THIS THIS THIS! All the way, man! My top 10 list for all classic comic villains is: Mandarin (better not be the suit version), Mephisto, Baron Mordo (classic), Executioner, Titanium Man (classic), Crimson Dynamo (classic), Annihilus (redo), Nightmare, Attuma, Madame Masque (redo) with Wizard, Zzzax, Bi-Beast, and Owl as honorable mentions and Spidey villains separate. I still want ManWolf, Swarm, classic Boomerang, Carrion, and Vermin most there. And three of those are my top two...period...most wanted Legends: Mandarin, Mephisto, Mordo. I was actually looking here at what Iron Man villains we do have and it's actually surprising how overlooked Iron Man's villains are. He's got a solid rogues gallery that's completely underrated. Admittedly, many are just "bad" Iron Man's, but even so. But the fact that Iron Man is now, officially, the only major character missing his archenemy (Mandarin) is completely a wound that needs healed ASAP.

Great push Dan! I loved the balance between the typical questions and the more interesting ones about the wish list. Plus the point about the figures are not really bought by kids and more for adult collectors, hence needs to improve on articulation and seamless designs.

Great talk. I’d love to pick his brain. I have bought Joes he made. I am a Marvel collector from the Toybiz 5” 90s. Day one Marvel Legend collector. It would be a joy to pick his brain. I’d love to hear what he thought of some of those wonky Toybiz articulation joints. I hope beyond hope Classified makes versions of characters he created. Dwight is the dude for sure. I’m curious what other toys he’s designed.

I noticed that u made the statement that Marvel Legends is primarily an adult collectors line and Dwight seemed to agree with your opinion. I have long stated that this toy line is primarily adult driven but Hasbro is reluctant to admit that most of their most popular toy products are primarily supported by fans that are 20 plus years of age. I only bring this up because in the past some comic based characters were labled too risqué for toy shelves. I will ask on the adults' behalf. Since DragonMan had the open pre-order window, I believe it would be fitting to offer the loyal fans such characters as Goblin Queen, Savage Land Rogue or a battle damaged She-Hulk in this same manner, pretty please? While you're at it, can u get the license to do Conan and Red Sonja two pack, please?🙏
