We’re constantly bringing up Dan and it’s also pretty often him and rich mention us. I’m sure he knew we’d have a 2 guys talking about 2 guys episode. We do it every time he talks to the team. He’ll be on the show eventually too.

@@robertfalcone3025 the marketing team always make a point about kids being a "key" demographic and they are supposed to be a factor in what type of product is allowed on store shelves. Just pointing out that a contrary statement was made. Hasbro can offer whatever they want and they could easily sell the Marvel Legends in the entertainment section like NECA instead of the toy aisle.

I would rather Hasbro produce fewer figures for the year and use all of the new pinless bodies as opposed to more figures using the Sunfire body mold or Pizza Spider-Man. It amazes me that for movie figures there are new sculpts in every wave but comic based figures have only had the Vulcan body and Renew Your Vows as the only new options. There is a big discrepancy in the sculpting budget for movie based figures when compared to the comic based figures. More than 70% of comic based figures are reused bodies with new head sculpts. The 85th anniversary program had nearly all of the new tooling for all of the products released this year.

We could and might do a whole episode on this topic. If they did go with the less figures and all newer bodies we wouldn’t have the depth to the line. We’d probably never see figures like orb, crystar, or frog man. The movie figures do get a bigger budget but the source also gets a bigger budget. Movies will always have more money than the paper comics. Additionally, most comic characters are in some kind of spandex suit so it really doesn’t make much sense to have new sculpting for some parts. Mcu costumes are always more detailed designs than the comic versions.

@thestrongcollectors Crystar, Frogman and Orb are all characters that benefit from having unique design elements and coincidentally Crystar and Frogman both received unique sculpting on both their figures. Compared to the greater Marvel Universe, these are D-list characters but they got new sculpted parts before a character as well known as Quicksilver. 🤔 Magneto's son is on the Sunfire body mold. Hasbro had a perfect opportunity to introduce a new leaner runner body mold that could have been similar in shape to the Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man body but taller. Most of the characters aren't wearing straight spandex. Hasbro is simply taking the easy route to produce the figures. Crystar gets a unique sculpt before 616 Iceman? Why wasn't Kazar on the Renew Your Vows body since he's athletic? Why isn't Hawkeye on the Vulcan body? Comic Clint Barton is taller than Steve Rogers. Why wasn't Namor pinless? I love Legends but Hasbro still cuts corners. I have collected this line since wave 1 of ToyBiz. Troop builders are put on the Bucky Cap and Sunfire bodies at a reduced price! I'm tired of paying full price for figures that are ten years old! Based on that logic Quicksilver is a troop builder! Wong got a new sculpt in the comic category and live action. Let that sink in. No figure other than Dracula got new tooling in the Strange Tales wave but Wong got a new sculpt in a two pack with Dr. Strange. Wong gets butterfly shoulders before Captain America and Namor? I'm going on too long.....I have been at this collecting thing for a long time. I just want a my money's worth is all. That and I want everyone to be honest and have fun. Toys haven't changed that much in the last 5 years

Im more mad about the Xmanny87 drama where he tried to resell sentinels for 75 bucks each. When the community called him out he went into panic mode, deleted comments, turned off comments on his sentinel video, then made a response video calling everyone who called him out names and deflecting any blame. I unsubscribed and stopped watching him after he showed his true colors.

Interesting ,he had a meltdown a few years ago when i didnt agree with his top ten list ( lame ) and he shut down his channel for several months after threatening to fight me 😄 . He made a video about me too

I don’t really watch any of his stuff. Mainly just don’t have the time and didn’t want to add another creator to want to follow. I did watch the video you’re talking about though and his drama with the predictions about the sentinels. Reselling I don’t care at all about. Jordan and I both have done a lot of that. I can understand comments bothering you but you have to be solid enough in yourself to not let it get to you so much you’re taking it out on the community.

I did not know that. I've been watching manny87 for a few years. I mean I hate to say it but it is the Internet I spose. As an older collector I just recently started collecting X-Men and the avengers (hulk,Thor,iron man antman and wasp). Keeping it what I consider silver/bronze age type of deco but yeah if there's a later version of a character that is just nice to me overall I may get it. A new psylocke is keeping us all in suspense being that they have that moonstone/warbird body they just need to make it. It might be a good figure. C'mon Hasbro don't poop the bed.💯 Please.

I would like to see hasbro marvel legends do the same articulations on every figure they do on the retro Spidey.is that to much to ask ??? I mean yes. If we want the same depth in the line as we have, there needs to be more options of articulation. That’s where the old stuff comes in. If they only did new bodies, we’d probably have half the figures we get.

Til it was no more it was bad because when hasbro took over they made horrible marvel legends figures very poor articulations it was heart breaking and it got more expensive hasbro didn't improve til eighteen years later .@@thestrongcollectors
