Okay I've seen a few reviews pitting these two figures together and what I've noticed is the Marvel Legends actually has more articulation in the elbows if you put them right next to each other and bend their elbows you'll see it I don't know why Mafex has a problem with double jointed elbows, they only seem to go a little bit past 90 degrees which is very poor for a double jointed elbow

Agreed, the joints are super smooth and fun to move, but Legends gets a better range in that regard

I feel Mafex are always twice as good as a ML for three times-ish the price. Which is fine, increases in quality don't necessarily increase in cost in a linear fashion. In this case I think I prefer the ML. The Mafex gold is nicer but then they have the Phoenix on her chest in flat yellow paint, that just annoys me for some reason. the ML gold is less pretty but matches the Phoenix symbol better, and I prefer the darker green. I also think the heads on the ML just have lots more personality.

Totally agree on the heads, the Mafex falls a little flat as far as expressions go. Even the yelling head looks very static.

Mr. Enemy here.. I wear Wrangler Jeans for work because they are cheaper & when I get them dirty & beat up I just toss em out. I wear Levi Jeans because I can actually find my EXACT size & fit. I have a difficult size due to my long legs & thin waist, most sizes seem to be for short fat guys. Guess I have odd Genes ;)

I love the pictures at the end of the video. I have the Mafex Phoenix and I still love her. Legends nice too, but don’t like the colour and also the second head. Reminds me of Medusa.

I'm with you, I absolutely hate the marvel legends female hands, they don't look like anything, I also would like more realistic proportions on the marvel legends sculpts, specially on women, I find they barely look human, they may look like 90s female comic book characters, but I absolutely hate 90s comicbook art 😂

This was frustrating to listen to. Feigning ignorance in 2024 is wild when Google is free and you could heave easily figured out the Mafex is based on Dave Cockrum’s art. also her face is Judgy because that’s Phoenix’s thing…. Like, do you even know who this character is?
