You mentioned that this was possibly a passion project for someone at Hasbro, and I think you're right. Not necessarily for the character, but for his designer. Marvel owes so much of it's existence to Jack Kirby, and the one thing this figure's design does is absolutely scream Kirby!

I love the Fantastic Four because they weren’t superheroes, they were or less adventurers and explorers. It’s the same reason why I love Star Trek.

I have been a FF fan for years. Psycho-Man is one of the last great villains Jack Kirby designed before leaving FF and Marvel. I think Kirby just went all-in. I was surprised and excited when this figure was announced. I am happy to get him.

I don’t want to be that one guy who says “I know everything and am that one fan of every obscure Fantastic Four comic and character!” But I watched the early 2000s movie and read my uncle’s old issues. In community college, I read Jonathan Hickman’s run in between homework because the local library had the whole collection, then I started reading Marvel’s Two-In-One by Chip Zdarsky, and now I am following Dan Slott’s run. I always enjoy picking up old issues of F4 because it’s always whacky but fun comic book stuff. The melodrama and family dynamic is top notch all the time, and I really like the Fantastic Four and am happy we’re getting all these characters and costumes of the F4. I hope we get the Future Foundation suits soon. No idea who this character is, but it’s a solid figure.

I'm more familiar with Psycho Man being the villain who unintentionally kicked off the "Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe" story. I think he's actually tiny in his true form, so technically this figure could be considered life-sized. Otherwise, to scale with Legends, this figure is him in some kinda mech suit where he sits inside the head controlling it... Kinda like that one alien in the first "Men In Black" movie who says "The Galaxy is on Orion's Belt". I think I read that he can alter his size, the suit's size, or both... I forget which, but he can alter his size.

The two thing he’s missing is 1) a Left pointer finger hand (like the deaths head figure from a couple years earlier) to interact with his emotion control box and 2) butterfly joints so he could reach over and push that button . Been a big Fan of the FF since I was a kid, wish they do more FF villains hoping the Beaker they teased will lead to Diablo and if his name is too risky they can call him Alchemist, just more FF villains.

Oldschool FF mark and I think Hasbro earned my dollar dollar bills with this figure and character. scale is slightly off but isn't a deal breaker. that was my only gripe lol Cheers

I'm a Fantastic Four fan. Psycho Man is from the Microverse aka the comics version of the Quantum Realm in the Ant-Man and Endgame movies. Psycho Man can alter his height, as that is how he can travel back and forth between our dimension and the Microverse or Quantum Realm.

I'd say I'm a fan of the Fantastic Four, I've got more into them in recent years although I was more familiar with them, Spider-Man and the X-Men growing up before I payed any attention to the Avengers. Saying that though I got a lot of my knowledge about them growing up with various animated shows they were in, and whilst that exposed me to villains like Puppet Master and Wizard, I'd never heard of this character. I'd heard about him only months before the figure was revealed, and I liked the idea of him and his wacky Kirby design enough to get the figure. My one issue is the lack of paint in places that make the figure feel cheap, all I think it needed was a wash to the face to bring out the details and I'd be much happier with it.

He’s not really that obscure. He’s an A list top tier threat Fantastic Four villain. While not quite a Dr. Doom or Galactus level, he’s on par with Anihilus, The Mad Thinker and the Mole Man. He’s a classic Kirby villain. His recognition suffers simply because other than a crossover with the Micronauts he has largely been exclusively an FF character. Although he’s the one that causes Sue Storm to turn into sexy evil Malice, if you’ve ever seen those stories. My biggest complaint with the figure. In fact my only complaint is his size. Psycho Man can change size, and most often presents towering over the FF. He would have made a better BAF.
