I'm not a big fan of how the fingernails and toenails look painted, but other than that I think this is my favorite Beast figure. That new head sculpt is perfect.

It's a smart release by Hasbro cause the old one was very hard to get and expensive on the after market. This one with the extra lab stuff and soft good coat is perfect.

Good review. I just got into Marvel Legends recently, and I must say, this Beast is very well done! Those face sculpts and color really bring out the X-Men 90s comic/animated nostalgia! I can't believe I didn't collect these figures sooner!

Idk fam, I’d love for that to be true but they’ve only used this mold 3 times and it’s all been on beast, and it was made only like 2 years ago. It’ll probably be another couple years at least till we get a new buck for him

Great figure review. Defin8tky agree about the grey face sculpt; in the blue it would be great. Even though I wasn't fan of his exagerated hair and muscles in the '90s cartoon, Ioved getting to see him get the attention he deserved. His personality was more like his Silver Age comic one than the high energy comical one from the 70s and early 80s Avengers' version of him that I was such a big fan of, but still liked it. I hope he gets some screentime in the '97 revival I keep hearing about.

I pre-ordered the beast and retro carded scorpion when they released still waiting on my beast but the scorpion figure is sweet! Definitely looks better than the Molten Man BAF. This new beast figure looks amazing

This is just 2 ideas my 2. If I've already said these I do apologize. I watch videos repeatedly sometimes. Because I love looking at them. But with Beast with this lapcote, there could have been 2 ways to do this number one. They could have made the lab coat plastic and giving you extra arms to put on or 2. So it takes only idea. I have a lab coat and number 2. As for the glasses falling off all the time. Maybe what they should have done is give us a Beast head with the glasses already attached to the head. Also, he needs a step of scope. I'm President and give us that, but yeah, a glass is beasthead. He would've had 3 headportraits. I think ahead with glasses would have been a great idea. Cause nobody's gonna glue those glasses on that wonderful head. And I don't know too many people. That's gonna buy an extra beef just to have that head. But then again, you never know, but yeah, a small tiny stiff. Let's go put it in nice. And maybe a notepad for him. The right stuff down, but yeah, maybe a leathery leathery jacket would have been nice. But still for what it's worth great Beast. I just wish they quit it with the sale shading. Luckily, there's not that much on this one. Thank God for that. But yeah, those are just my ideas for Beast. Still wonderful figure matches the animation good. I'm grateful they did that.

I’m happy people that didn’t get the other beast can get this one but for me it’s the same fig for accessories that don’t work for the character and a coat that only fits a character I don’t want to use it on

I thought the dark shading was overdone in the original release.. It also looks like this one has the head molded in the same color as the body, the first release painted the face blue, which made the details look soft and the face was glossier than everything else. Overall, I think the new one is improved, even if they cheaper out in some of the shaded areas. Gray beast is probably still my favorite, though. He just looks very nice.

I'd have to say the newer release has the better deco for me.... don't know if really need to replace the BAF Beast I own... But I'll say if you missed him before this seems like the better update for sure.

The reason you can’t balance him is because there is no counter balance. If his legs are to the left, his arm needs to be extended on the right, just like the human body.

I really like the first release, Beast. It seems Hasbro got lazy and not bother spending money on painting him. Now I have to keep the old release version too. Was going to sell the first one off, but it has paint applied. This new one looks like it is flat like the 2d cartoon. I think I would like to put the coat to the first release version. Essentially, we are buying accessories in this release.

If soft goods isn’t cheap then how come Mattel can include them as shirts etc in the Elite WWE lines and sell them less than Hasbro does marvel legends. Oh you know, reasons.

Nice... But don't care for the lab coat, especially on him in package as far as displaying... Need lots of blue showing. I'll stick with my original one only...Would pick him up in a heartbeat if it didn't have that lab coat on. Helps with my efforts to cut back on collecting pieces of prices, no window boxing, Economy/ current poor leadership in this country Along with toy companies taking advantage somewhat on top of it etc etc. There is my rant.
